They called me up on my cell phone and offered me a service.

They implied that they were affiliated with my credit card company, which I later found out they are not.

They offer a confusing set of terms for a "special deal" where you get five years of magazine subscriptions for the low fee of 62.40. They don't say it, but they imply that that is going to be it. The actual fee is 998.40, which you don't find out until the "confirmation letter" arrives in the mail.

Of course, by that point they are "committed to their publishers on your behalf", and so will charge you a "70% discount" of 300 dollars instead.

They misrepresent their service, and refuse to let you cancel without paying a ridiculous termination fee.

DO NOT patronize this company.

they never said that they were affiliated with your credit card company. They said that our major list brokers provide us with the names and phone numbers, and sometimes addresses of the preferred customers of the visa, mastercard, american express and discover. in no way related to you credit card company. They also say, we are calling from our SWEEPSTAKES AND MARKETING CENTER. meaning we're on a computerized dialer, and we have no control of who we get on the phone with.
