I got a call in the morning from this company, the lady, who has my first and last name and even my address and told me I was one of the candidate for winning a few items because I am either a visa, american express, credit card member. She told me I have won a diamond watch and asked me what I like to do so I told her go online, shop around. She sounded really nice and started telling me she'll put me in the system for 3 magazine - allure, cosmopolitan and something else for free. She said it so quickly with all the information that it was difficult to catch. She then told me to further process my information, she will forward my phone call to a person who's in the high position and hope I can put in good words for her.
After 2 seconds, a man Scott, told me he was told by the lady that I am interested in the magazines. Scott asked me a bunch of questions and told me that he wanted to go ahead and send me the diamond watch, asking me if I wanted it in male or female. He also asked me what my hobbies are and I told him graphic arts. He then gave me a deal saying he would send me another magazine that is graphic designed related for free. He had a small conversation about his 2 daughters and laughed. He then asked me for my visa card expiration date and card number to verify that I am the card holder. I asked him if I am going to get charged and he explained that I won't get charged for anything I didn't order. He said they are affiliated with the credit card companies, as well as 5000 magazine companies. They did sound legit so I went ahead and gave them the information.

He then told me he'll give me a deal for the magazine purchasing. Instead of charging weekly, they will charge me monthly for $68 and some change per month. I told him I am not interested in purchasing the magazines because I do not purchase those magazines myself. He told me he'll give me a student deal for half the price/ month. I told him I do not want to continue on this purchase. He then had this other guy Rob, who said was a senior manager talked to me. He said I said I was interested in those magazines and I told him I want to think about it and I will call them back when I had made sure. He told me they don't do call back and kept pushing saying that I agreed with the magazine purchasing. I told him I want to cancel the opened account and he wouldn't stop saying that they can't do this and that I was the one who agreed on this.

At last, I told him I am not interested and that I want the account and purchase cancelled and he got made and said 'OK, I am going to cancel, good night.'

As soon as we hung up, I went onto my bank account and was charged for $1 for opening the account. I had to call the bank and ask them to cancel my credit card and hopefully I will not get further charges.
