Complaint Review: Natural Cures - itvdirect.com

I ordered Kevin Trudeau's book on November 17, 2006 by telephone using my bank card. I was offered all kinds of different deals, all of which I said no to. All I wanted was the 2 books for $19.90.

I received the books about 4 weeks later. I thought that was that.

On January 2, 2007 I was going ovr my bank statement and there was a charge for $6.32 that I did not know about. I called my bank right away. They told me the charge was from Natural Cures and gave me their phone #, 800-215-0063, which I promptly called and received the message above in Section B. I did leave a message and left my home phone # for them to promptly get back to me. No body did.

On January 3, 2007 I attempted to e-mail them and the e-mail would not go through. I went to their web site, itvdirect.com, got a different phone # to call, 978-299-2200, called that, waited on-hold for over 1/2 hour, then hung up and called my bank.

I asked them to please stop any further monies to be taken out by Natural Cures and was told that I needed to get a new bank card. They were filing an Investigative Claim to try and recoup the unauthorized removal of money from my account. I should know if there was any success in 10 days. I am hoping so.

The thing that has me nervous is the bank said that sometimes these companys can continue to steal form your account even after you get a new bank card. I am hoping this is not the case.
