Complaint Review: naturalhair_world

Steer clear..REPEAT..steer clear of so called hair stylist Takisha Walters. Do not assume that the pictures that you will see on her instagram page will be how your hair will look. Her main instagram page for hair is naturalhair_world. She also has another instagram page called sweetcocofitness. When you pay money for a certain level of service and that person fail to do so, you should be held accountable. I paid 250.00 freakin dollars for midback length locs and got cheated out of my length. Her excuse is that all of the locs are done in different lengths. I told her specifically that the locs I was talking about were so short that alot of them didn't even touch my shoulders and didn't even match with the rest of my locs. She had the nerve to charge a fee because since I left her non-working bathroom condo. She charges a fee and it is my fault for failing to let her know before I left. It is not the clients responsibilty to keep track on the length of the locs. If your the one braiding it and I can't see the back of my head ...then who fault is that? I wasn't doing my head..you were.

She changed her appointment twice and wanted me to come to her house. She didn't even let me know her condo didn't have a working bathroom. So im just gona sit there for hours and hold it..and leave every single time I have to go? Then said had to the nerve to blame me for why my hair wasn't done the first time. Since she swithced on me literally at the last minute..I had to find a way to get to her. She said she could start hair no later than 6:30. I got there before 6:30pm. Then I asked to use the bathroom and she said, "oh my toilet doesn't work"., so why the hell would you have me come over then and not mention it once? So I had to go drive somewhere to find a bathroom. She didnt want to finish my head after I insisted on her finishing. She said she would come sat at 11:00am. Sat comes and she message me will bullcrap saying, " i didn't workout yet". She then messaged me saying she was on her way. Then she decides not come because uber costed more and she worked out too late.  She had a job to complete and she didn't prioritize right. So since she did this at her own convenience she didn't have enough time to do my hair AGAIN. 

I work too hard to be messed over by some want to be hair stylist. All she had to do was fix the locs I asked her to fix. And on top of that, my locs looked like they were at least 3 weeks to a month old. She didn't even try to solve this and instead wanted to blame me for her inability to do hair. You can't just take people's money and not try to resolve things when they arise. What goes around come around and she is bogus for taking my money and not fixing my hair for free.
