Complaint Review: Naturally Women Health Club

I am submitting the email I sent to Char at Naturally Women in Gilbert on August 8th, after I was told there was nothing they could do about giving me back my $500. I had tried the new club, I drove there and the traffic was ridiculous. I joined the club that was 1 mile from my front door, not 15 miles.

My name is xxxxx xxxxxxx. I signed a 2 year contract, paid in cash at the Club on Price Road in TEMPE. I signed up there because it is a CONVENIENT LOCATION for me. Less that 2 months later you close the club and tell me that it's not your problem that it is no longer convenient for me to work out. You have my money, and I'm just out of luck. My contract says that if I MOVE within 25 miles of a club I may not cancel my membership, it doesn't say anything about you packing up and moving.

I tried coming there, it is VERY inconvenient for me. IF, someone had been honest with me in the first place and told me there was a possibility that the club would be closing, I would have just gone down the street to 24 Hour Fitness and joined there. IT WAS THE LOCATION, NOT THE NAME ON THE CLUB.

I cannot be forced to go so far when I joined a club less than a mile from my home. How can your organization do something so dishonest.

This isn't over, I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!! I need to work out and now I have to try to come up with the money again, because you are holding my CASH MONEY HOSTAGE.

Either call me, or email me, but I need an answer as to why the owner of Naturally Women thinks he can just pull the plug, with no notice or choice for those of us who don't want to drive an extra 24 miles round trip to workout, when I joined because I only had 1 1/2 miles round trip.

That also adds 15 minutes, not in rush hour to my trip each way. The last time I came home from the club, it was an additional 30 minutes, so I was late for a meeting.

You guys really did a number on me and quite a few other ladies. I hope you realize that this is not going to just go away. I don't know about you, but $500 is a lot of money to me and I WANT IT BACK!!!!

Within 10 minutes of receiving this email Char called me. She said she would put my name in for a refund, that was a month ago, I haven't heard 1 word since then.

I hope you can help me and the many other women who were left without any options.
