I also have asked for a deferment on two auto loans. It happened three years ago. The manager that I dealt with after two weeks gave approval. I was harrased the next month for not making a payment. I called and tried to find out what happened. I was told ater several different people passed me on to someone who was a so called supervisor. He told me that my request was on hold. Now I am behind 3 months. I ask what I had to do to get this corrected and up to date. I was told I had to wait for all the Katrina request was handled.
Hello, My request was two months before Katrina and APPROVED. It did not matter to anyone at the credit union. They took all my social security disability deposit and my wifes paycheck to ward the payments. Which left me with overdrawn checks, etc. The end results have left me no choice but rely on the courts to accept my bankruptcy. I want to thank all the rude and lying personnel of the so called member assoc. Of Navy Federal Credit Union for letting a 67 year olds life go down the drain with embarassment to my neighbors and friends.
Thank you Navy Federal as you rip off the young and old.
