Ordered a two year subscription for Popular Science on 11/22/04. Mailed in a check that day and on 1/03/05 it finally cleared but still no magazine.
I tried emailing them but the last two emails out of seven came back, now the websites are shut down. Other than a print out of the transaction and a photocopy of the processed check I don't know where to go for more information....
I'll probably keep trying to find out more info, I'm not happy about being Ripped Off!!!!

I was also a victim of this rip off company, I'm sorry you also ended up in this situation. I've filed complaints against NBAF with the BBB and the Attorney General's office in TN. to no avail, NBAF already has a bad record with them, and they don't even respond to the complaints from the BBB or Atty General. I was told there was nothing they could do to shut them down or force them to refund my money, to me what they are doing is criminal and somebody should shut them down, and soon before they continue to rip off more people like us.
The best advice I have for anyone who gets ripped off by these criminals is to directly contact the publisher of the magazine, if you supply them with proof and payment of the order made to NBAF, most publishers will generally honor the sale and start the subscription based on the proof you submit, you may not get your money back, but at least you will hopefully get the subscription.
One word of advice, don't invest as much time as I did in trying to get a refund, it never happened in my case & I invested months in costs and time in trying to get somebody to shut this place down with no luck. NBAF is not stupid, they know a person is not going to pay a lawyer big bucks to go after them for the small price of a subscription, it's all a game for them, I don't know how they sleep at night, but I bet it's in a very expensive place.
