Same story as everyone else. Ordered furniture in August 2005. Got the first few emails letting me know what phase the furniture was in. Credit card was charged day after order.

Got all the way to phase 6, then I was no longer able to find the status online. Then the website was not working. The site does work now, but does not recogize my order online.

Probably called the company 20 times so far. They either put me on hold or send me to someones voice mail. Will not tell me who is in charge. Did get the name of the supposed boss. Her name may be Cheryl Spees?
The only reason I got her on the phone was because she must have picked up the phone right as I dialed. Seemed real helpful our first conversation, promised to call me right back. Never did! I have never been so made at a retailer in my life. I can not believe this place is in business.

I try to call them every other day and see what lie they will tell me. Now there 800 is not in service, pry could not pay the bill.

I have filed a complaint with my credit card and bbb. Who knows what will happen. Credit card should charge back my account.

Do Not Buy from these creeps.

furniture came, not what I ordered

Finally got some furniture. Wrong color! So, I decided I might be able to live with it. But as the movers were unpacking, both the dresser and the chest were broken.

Gets worse. On all of the boxes was "made in China" Then as I was looking at the furniture noticed it was cheap particle board. On the description it said it was supposed to be solid hard woods and select veeners. There was no solid wood here.

Called NC, talked to Cheryl, she told me that was what I ordered. She told me once she gets the paperwork back from the shippers she will send me the two new pieces that were busted. We will see what happens

I finally got a hold of the customer service again. talked to a new person this time named Dena. Told me my furniture is with the shipping company, should be 7-10 days and they will contact me. Well that time has passed. When I did talk to them I asked for the shipping company's name, they could not tell me. I also asked to have a copy of what they told me, either fax or email, they could not do that either.

I just can not comprehend how they can stay in business. I tried all day today to get someone on the phone, no answer, just voice mails. I would hate to work there. I just wonder how many complaints they get a day.
