I have been receiving calls from this company for over two and a half years now in regards to a debt owed by the woman who had my phone number before I registered with it in August of 2007.  Over the course of the past five weeks, NCC has been contacting me through telephone number (321) 250-7031.  Call times are exact:

Jan. 5, 2010:  9:08 a.m.
Jan. 19, 2010:  10:01 a.m.
Jan. 21, 2010:  1:07 p.m.
Feb. 10, 2010:  1:10 p.m.
Feb. 16, 2010:  1:27 p.m.
Feb. 16, 2010:  4:07 p.m.  --  I asked to have my number removed.
Feb. 18, 2010:  2:05 p.m.

On February 19, 2010, at 3:04 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, I was again contacted by this telephone, identifying themselves as "NCC, a division of Commonwealth Financial Systems."  This was no more than 71 hours after I asked them to stop contacting me.  After I told them I was not Taisha Espinoza (sic), the woman they were looking for, I was immediately disconnected.  I called back, and asked to speak to a supervisor, after which I was immediately disconnected once again.  I called back a third time and was transferred to the customer service desk, where I tried to explain that I was not the person they were looking for.  I was immediately told to "get over it" and accused of lying to them.  This was approximately 3:11 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.  The representative continued to coerce me through intimidation into admitting I was affiliated with this woman.

I have filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, the Better Business Bureau, the Attorneys General of the State of Florida and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals, and am now posting my experience on Ripoff Report to try and inform anybody else who has endured the same harassment from this company for a debt that is not theirs.  I highly encourage anybody in this situation to do the same thing!
