NCE or Unified Health One Unified Health OneNCE or National Congress of EmployersUnified Insurance Company Did not tell the truth about proper coverage as discussed on the phone, on office visits, deductibles, Pharmacy mail order process, cost of Blood work and Lab and ect. Overland Park Kansas
During my conversation with the sale rep for this policy I was making notes to ensure I would not forget each item which was discussed and some details on his comments per item.
Therefore, when I received the policy on Friday after the Thanksgiving Holiday I reviewed it in detail and compared it to my notes and found many things that were different than what had previously been discussed. Such as the number of Dr. visits I was told there were no limites to any doctor visites per year, and the certificate I receceived listed only 5 visit per year. Secondly, was the lack of information pertaining to Prescriptions, I was told I would be receiving with the policy packet some information pertaining to ordering prescriptions by mail order and I received none. Third, I was told there was no number of boold test my wife could have since she was having to take a blood test monthly. We were told there was no limit and this was not mentioned. Forth, I continued to express to the sales person that I needed my policy to be a PPO policy and he said no problem but nowhere on all the paperwork is PPO mentioned. I tried to register on the internet site for Unified Insurance Company with my newly received Insurance cardMember I.D. number but to no avail. We received a Surgical Fee Schedule as part of our packet but how do we know what percentage these amounts are since these amounts are listed in dollars per item listed compared to what the negotiated amount is with the providers?
When I spoke with the sale person on this policy, we spoke percentages of the cost covered by the insurance and all I get are dollar amount which I cannot compare, for example with a negotiated rate or a medicare rate or something.
These items mentioned above seem to match may other made on the internet by many other persons. Why does this continue when this is not a professional way of doing business.
