I sold and provided customer Service to the Travel Agents and direct purchasers for 4 1/2 Years.. I "KNOW" the fraud that you as customers face, and can safely say this company has no regard for its Employees, let alone you, the customer.

The blatant disregard for complaints are simply Bad Business,.And I wonder how they stay in business--- that may resolve itself in the pretty near future. They advertise non-existent cruise fares.

I've had calls for Hawaii Crtuises (7 day) advertised from $599 per person, but the lowest rate I could find on any date was $999 PLUS gov't taxes of about $75 .. these are per person rates.

to that you also have to add the $70 "per Person" Service charges added to your onboard account which you pay at the end of the cruise. with the service charges AND Gov't taxes this comes to a total of$545 per person OVER the $599 rate per person rate you expected and you called for... NCL's theory is Just to get you to call , and they believe the reservations agents can sell you this cruise or some other cruise ( bait and switch)

Fact is most people who call and see this BS get quite pissed and will never give this company an opportunity at this time or any time in the future.

Do NOT take the Pride of Aloha ship on the Hawaii Cruise... I've never heard so many complaints about "ANYTHING" as I received from people who took this cruise- Ship smells terrible in certain areas ( stinks)- the All American crew doesn't care in the least and they prove it to the customers on board with lousy attitudes, foul language, abuse in their service, and it also can take 3-5 hours to get seated and complete a meal onboard..

As a matter of fact these issues are well known to NCL's upper Mgt., but, being, US Flagged and all American crew, there is nothing they can do about it...

NCL didn't bait and switch while I worked for them

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Tue, October 10, 2006

I worked for NCL as an at-home agent in Phoenix,Az. I never felt they didn't care for their employees or the customers. During training it was stressed how important all of us were.

In fact, to show how much they cared for us as employees, all of the Phoenix agents were flown by NCL to either LA or San Francisco so that we could also see the Pride of America when it started sailing.

During the whole time we were on board all the employees there treated us so well. And they knew that we were also employees so there was no need to fake being nice.

As for the advertised prices on certain cruises, we were given the ad and then shown where it could be located in the system. If an outside agent couldn't find an advertised sailing all they had to do was call in and ask.

As for the customers, there were times when I would spend hours on the phone with someone because they didn't know when they wanted to go or they wanted the price for every cruise for an entire month. When I complained to my supervisor about all the time I felt was wasted doing this, I was reminded that the customer is who is important and to do what they asked.

I only worked there for a few months, because of personal reasons not the company, but during that time I never saw what you are claiming.
