I had 2 mbna america accounts. Mbna closed/sold my accounts 3 months prior to my petition for chapter 7 bankruptcy. NCO/FIN 99 is their assignee? So without knowing ANYTHING I included the original creditor in my bankruptcy not NCO/FIN 99.NOW NCO/FIN 99 is reporting as of today that I owe them $ 11.689, TERMS 1 MONTH?

I am really confused! I called NCO/FIN 99 about 19 times and the line KEPT DROPPING? They also couldn't find an account with my social security number. It's been 3 years + since I owe them? The account is seriously past due;assigned to attorney or grantors internal collection? If I owe them money as of today why didn't they tried to collect it?

I dont remember getting a bill or notice from them either. Anybody got a tip to give me? If I include the original creditor on my bankruptcy even tho they have closed/sold the account to somebody else, do I owe money to their assignee? And if I do why is it they can't find MY ACCOUNT! And why are they reporting KD + for 3 years now as of today?

I made a dispute with experian and the results are UNCHANGED? For anybody else having those clowns NCO/FIN99 on their credit report and trying to contact them HERE IS THEIR WEB SITE!! WWW.NCOGROUP.COM ( DO NOT TRY TO EMAIL THEM / THEY NEVER RESPOND)

Once you go to their site on the upper right side click the contact us link and it will give you their phone number for us/canada. Its an 800 for the us listed on their web site.

The 99 is just an internal code they use for credit reporting so they can identify the original creditor.

The company in question is NCO Financial which is part of NCO Group, aka NCO Portfolio Management.

As far as credit bureau disputes go, you have the right under the provisions of the FCRA to get copies of any validation provided. You are entitled to get all information used in the validation process.

Stay off the phone, and DO NOT do online disputes. Do everything in writing, and send by certified mail, return reciept requested. Put the certified# on the letter itself and keep a copy for your records. This is very important.

Good luck!
