NCO Financial NCO GroupNCO Financial/55 Scam-Dropped my credit score with no validation Horsham Pennsylvania
When I lived in SC I recieved bills from St Joseph Medical in the amount of $10,380 addressed to an individual named "Yorkie", my last name is York so I shredded them speculating that they were a scam to see if I were dumb enough to pay them. I never recieved a notice from NCO financial but low and behold it is now on my credit report. The number NCO listed on my credit report is no longer in service.
How is a collection company so dumb that they do not do their due diligence and actually figure out if the person is the same person. I have no idea how this made it this far but now I have to fight with them to get this removed because it tanked my credit score 100 points!! I have never had any dealings with St Joseph Medical as they are in Deleware and I have only been their a hand full of times while on duty flying for the AF.
If you recieve something from this company, I would take it with a grain of salt but definitely don't let it slide until it shows up on your credit report. This is a credit score killing piece of either fruad or stupidity.
