I recieved a letter asking for $62.59 for an e bay bill from nco financial. I then recieved 4 phone calls asking for my chequeing account info, credit card info. I refused and wanted to know what the bill was for because i never bought anything off of e bay. I thought you had to use pay pal or credit card to buy from e bay.

Despite them saying they were trying to help me i got no info on what i was paying for. I pay my bills and am very upset.

If i owe i pay but not to these rude people.

This is interesting: I, too, received a letter from NCO Financial about one month ago, for the SAME amount ($62.59) and also for an e:bay billing. In their first letter, I responded by asking them to send me three copies of the bill from e:bay, one for myself, one for my accountant, and one for my attorney.

They did NOT send the copies, but then another letter came. I then went to my e:bay account, which shows a balance of $0.00 (last transaction was in September of 2004, and made a copy of that billing, I also sent them a copy of their letters and a copy of the FDPCA outlining that they were sending bills that should not have been sent.

I also printed out a number of pages from RipOffReport showing them quite a lot of negative feedback for their operation. I ask them to cease and desist in sending these bogus bills and advised them I was going to report them to the FTC, which I am working on a letter as we speak.

Again, interesting, that the SAME amount and SAME debtor would be sent to two different people; wonder how many other people got this letter about a non-existant debt with e:bay for the same, or like, amount.
regards,
