I am writing to file a complaint against NCO Financial Systems, Inc. 507 Prudential Road Horsham, PA 19044.

This company has contacted my work numerous times in reference to an outstanding debt that I owe them. I have informed them that I will pay them when I am able to, due to my husband experiencing a pay cut I am unable to fulfill my obligation to them. I have told the caller Veronica more than 4 times (before the listed dates below) that I am not allowed to receive personal phone calls at my place of employment.

On 2/24/04 she called back, I asked to speak with her supervisor and informed the supervisor that it is against the law to call my place of employment and that I have told this to Veronica 4 times before this date. The supervisor was very rude and asked If I was finished. I then told her I can not receive personal calls at work and hung up.

On 2/27/04 Veronica called my job again, I hung up in fear of losing my job. I work in a very small office and sit right next to my supervisor, personal calls are prohibited! Again on 3/8/04 NCO has a man call this time I believe his name was Yasef, I told him not to call my Job that I was filing a complaint against the company and hung up. Now, I have been written up for receiving personal phone calls and can loose my job over this matter if it continues.

Now it is 3/11/04 and a man with NCO by the name of Bill Borowiec has called my job again, a message was taken saying it was about a business matter. I don't know where else to turn except filling a complaint against this company, I feel this is a form of harassment and is against the law in the state of Texas. Since this letter was sent to the Federal Trade Commission and my Attorney Generals office they have call again.

Dear NCO Financial:

This will serve as your legal notice under provisions of federal law, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), to cease all communication with me in regard to the debt referenced above.

If you fail to heed this notice, I will file a formal complaint against you with the Federal Trade Commission who is responsible for enforcement, the States Attorney General office and/or the American Collectors Association or local State Bar Association.

I/We have decided that we do not desire to work with a collection agency under any circumstances. I/We will contact the original creditor to resolve this matter directly, as circumstances warrant.

You are also notified that should any adverse information be placed against my/our credit reports as a result of this notice that appropriate actions will be taken. Give this very important matter the attention it deserves.
