I was contacted on April 08, 2003 by a woman who called herself Regina Hughes. She claimed that she was representing a company called NCS or National Credit Services.

This person then proceeded to tell me that said company was responsible for the distribution and processing of all Visa and Mastercard's for 20 major FDIC insured banks in the US, and further she could offer me a guaranteed Visa or Mastercard with a $5000.00 dollar credit limit from the bank of my choosing, ex;Citibank, Bank of America.

Regina Hughes went on to tell me that this offer carried a 0% interest rate for life and no annual fee, all of this for a one time fee of only $359.00 dollars. She stated that the card would be delivered to me in 7-10 days via UPS with the PIN number to follow 2 days later, at which time I was to go to an ATM and withdraw the $359.00 dollars and deposit it into my checking account which they NCS would then draft the funds from.

Next Regina Hughes proceeded to ask for my bank account information. I am by no means naive but rather an educated person so I was not drawn into this scheme, but for those people with less than perfect credit beware, you may have to have a secured line of credit or pay a higher interest rate, but any reputable company does not request your bank account information or charge you large sums of money upfront to extend you credit.
