NE Autographs / Nathan Autogrpahs "Dark Knight" autographed poster ruled a FAKE by PSA/DNA New York New York
NE Autographs/neautograph.com is a company that sells autographed movie posters with very reasonable prices. I unfortunately discovered why their prices are so reasonable first hand. I first discovered this web site from google.com and searched "autograph movie poster" and this company was featured at the very top in the highlighted field, so it wasn't hard to find.
Everything about their web site looks legitimate and all items come with a COA from their company. I didn't know at the time that a COA is meaningless unless the COA comes from a credible 3rd party. I purchased a "Dark Knight" poster that was allegedly signed by the main cast including the late, Heath Ledger. The poster was missing a signature of one of the main actors, Aaron Eckhart so I was searching some "autograph seeking" web sites to inquire on getting that signature myself.
Many of the members on these web sites were interested in my purchase in main part to Heath Ledger's autograph. When I shared the name of the company that I made my purchase with, I received responses from multiple members that were questioning the legitimacy of my item. They sent me different web sites that claimed that NE Autograph sold fraudulent signatures and that they were even being investigated by the FBI (the FBI referred me to you). Needless to say this made me very uncomfortable.
I'm well aware of the number of fraudulent autographs out there but I had no idea that a company that appeared to be this legitimate would fall into that category. It was then suggested to get my poster authenticated through PSA/DNA, the most credible authentication company in the business. I didn't want to do that through the mail so I waited until they were appearing at an autograph show in San Jose, CA so I could have it done in person. PSA/DNA found the signatures on my poster to be fraudulent!
I paid $100 on top of what I had already paid NE Autograph for the poster to have the authentication done. I've tried contacting NE Autograph by email (they have no given phone number) and I let them know what happened and that I, of course, demand a full refund. They have yet to respond. Neautograph.com is still a running web site and they not only still offer the same poster that I bought from them, but they have updated their web site with new items since my purchase. How can this be?
I would love to get back money back, God knows I need it, but I would much rather see these criminals put out of business and hopefully behind bars where they belong. Please let me know if I can assist in any way. I have NE Autograph's COA, PSA/DNA's letter stating that the signatures are fraudulent, and of course the poster itself that I'd be happy to donate to your or anyone's investigation against NE Autograph. Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated by not only me and the other victims of this company, but the future victims of this company. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

I would be willing to take you up on that offer. If somehow you can get this poster to me I have a few friend who work for jsa and would like to submit it to them to, let's say find out more about this owners wrong doings. Let me know if you still have it

NE AUTOGRAPHS: This one is so bad although I have been ripped off I can't help but
laugh at their stupidity, & mine.
A signed Bud Abbott & Lou Costello movie poster, "Meet Dr Jekyl & Mr Hyde". Signed by
both in fluorescent ink (HIGHLIGHTER). Lou Costello died on March 3, 1959.

Here is my story:
I saw a Barack & Michelle Obama signed book on the NE Autograph website. I used a Quick Opinion service for $10 to verify the signatures. They looked good to me and the service agreed they were. I was still suspicious because of the low price, which was $250. I've seen the 2 sigs on one book on Ebay for $1000-$2000. So I emailed them to make sure that I would receive the EXACT same signed book listed on the site and I could return them for any reason, if not satisfied. They, of course, said I would get the exact item listed and returns were a breeze.
So I ordered the book with Paypal and it arrived quickly. I opened it and "Yuch", it looked like my grandchild signed it. First, I've been as collector for many years and study signatures. This was definitely signed by a right-handed person (Obama is a lefty) and the Michelle wasn't close to known examples. In short, it was nothing like remotely like the listed picture. So I emailed them and waited for a response. I sent a copy of the listing and my book to show them the difference. After several emails and no response, I began to get a bad feeling. I filed a complaint with PayPal and they didn't get any answer from them either. But they closed out my claim explaining that I did get the item and it was as ordered, despite my objections.
Then I called my credit card company to reverse payment. They told me that I first had to return the book before they would do something. But, I discovered from the post office that the return address off the package they sent me was fake...there was no such PO Box. Of course the only phone number listed with PayPal was also fake. Oops.
What to do? I hate being ripped-off and my only option was email. I sent about 6 emails and finally got a response. They asked why I wanted a refund, as if I had never explained anything in the previous emails. I resent the original explanation and waited. Another week went by without hearing from them. Now I was mad.. I had simply asked them for a return address so I could send back this book. Then I got an idea. First, I had the owner's email address off PayPal.
So I began send dozens of emails to his and the main address. Each with a different subject title, and at different times.. This increased to fifty or more every day. I figured they would have to open each one because some said things like, "New Order," or "I have a Question about an Item." After just two days of doing that, they offered me a full refund to stop the emails and they sent back my PayPal payment. I still offered to return the book if they would give me the return address I needed, which they refused to do. So, if this was such a valuable book, why wouldn't they want it back?
Since then, I just saw the same book on Ebay (similar sigs to the ones I received) for $3500. Also the same newspaper off their site on Ebay. I emailed the seller. He said he just got it from Nathans too. Both were obvious fakes but came with NE Autograph "lifetime guarantee" which of course is worthless. Anyway, I wrote a guide warning people about the fakes on NE Autograph and noticed that both items are still shown on their website. That's my story, for all it's worth. Moral: Persistance pays off. Don't let the cheaters win.

PSA/DNA are the worst 3rd party authenticating service company, they frequently fail real items and have no idea when it comes to fake items ( but i am sure your poster is fake). You can read all about them on AutographAlert.com. yOU WILL BE SICKENED by their MISTAKES.
I would also stay away from Autographs America.com - their whole site is filled with fakes.
