The NEA is an association out of Gaithersburg,MD who says they have over 2500 members i joined them and paid them for a lifetime membership and now i am being told that this guy Paul Coulis will not honor my life time membership because he is not the oringinal owner and if i want to stay i have to send him another $95.00 for a new ID and it will be for only one year after running an investigation on this association i find out there are not 2500 members there are only 30 members and several of them have just walked away from them also this Paul Coulis is teaching a bail enforcement course in the eastern part of the united states witch is an out dated course going back to the 1980 and this persons does not even know how to teach a bail course i had to go to another agency to learn the right way in fact i had to go to Bob Burton to learn the right way all this guy Coulis wants is our money and he never even answers the phone i have talked to several agents that used to be members and they all have agreed his association called NEA.LLC is nothig but a rip off oh by the way if you tell anyone anything about his associaition he will trow you out and want your id back the funny part several agents have walked away because of his joke association to all be very carefull and do not waste your money by getting a membership in the NEA.llc you dont get anything for it he ripped me of for 240.00 and dont take any course he may offer in bail enforcement this man has never made any kind of arrest out there in his life time and also has never did any field work

The rebuttal is absolutely correct. Bob Burton is a ripoff artist as much, or more so than Coulis. A few key points. First, Burton is still affiliated with Coulis and Scott Olsen of the NIBE - so how he would be anyway distinguished from them is odd. Burton's course does not comply, that I am aware of, with any state POST certification (or other certification), yet he advertises a "Nationally certified" course! And, as Fabets had posted. his NY driver's license was revoked for DUI - he is an alcoholic. Perhaps he should stick to his day job as a sales representative for Black Tie magazine. google it.

to the person who wrote the complaint. Yes coulis is a ripoff. But so is bob burton. You have learned nothing from bob burton. He is worse than coulis is. he is a swat clown teacher. He knows nothing about bail enforcement. He is a fool and a clown. thats why new york state revoked his license. So you got ripped off again. he is not a working pro. If you really want to learn what real agents do, do your homework and throw away everything bob burton taught and his bogus membership in the trash. learn from real pros. Oh yeah you wont even know a real pro is in the area.
