We bought a Neato Robotic Vacuum, Model D3 and it began having issues after a software update. It started randomly skipping rooms during the cleaning cycle. I returned the robot to Neato for warranty repair.  They returned the robot about 2 weeks later saying it had been repaired, but the issue was not resolved. It was still randomly skipping rooms and areas throughout the house.  Neato replaced the bad robot with a new D3.

Now here we are less than a year later, and once again after a software update, the new robot is doing the same exact thing.....randomly skipping rooms and areas.

Neato refuses to stand by the manufacturers warranty and insists I will have to pay for repairs.
