Needak Manufacturing LLC False advertising, Internet

This company is a complete scam they appear to have multiple websites. I am listing just a few of them that I show up when you search for there rebounder.

http://www.needak.com/
http://needak-rebounder-store.com
http://www.needekusa.com/
http://needak-rebounders.com/
http://www.needakrebounder.com/
http://www.needakrebounders.com/

Despite the fact though all of these sites look like they are needak (if there actually is a real "needak" company) in reality they are all owned by different people.  They all appear to be selling a mini trampoline and claim to be "Needak". If there really is a legitimate and official needak company, which at this point I doubt, what company would allow such blatant  abuse of there trademark and company name?

Some of these sites blatantly and falsely claim to be the official company when they are not. Here are a couple of examples:

On the site needak.com (which is the most obvious scam site) the claim multiple times on there main page and throughout the site to be the the official site but are not.

They even have pages set up which let you do things like register for a warranty where they collect your personal information (and do who knows what with it). https://www.needak.com/register-your-rebounder

Very shady business practice.

I also have purchased a Needak Rebounder, specifically from the site in question (Needak - www.needak.com) and their service was highly professional and steadfast.

In fact, if you bothered to read the bottom of their site, it even provides a link to the manufacturer!

Please take more time to investigate these things. A lot of stores sell the same product, that doesn't mean they are scamming you.

The rebounder I received had the Needak Manufacturing logo on it so it was obviously not a fake.

Needak Complaint Inaccurate

#4General Comment

I read the complaint containing accusations against web sites promoting sales of Needak Rebounders and found it confusing, misleading and inaccurate.  I have personally ordered and recieved a product through the web site www.needak-rebounder-store.com and experienced it to be completely above board and professiional.  I have also recommende this site to my patients and never had any issues or concerns arise.  The author of the complaint does not seem to have any accurate information and is not substansiated in any fashion which leads me to be concerned about the inherent problems with being able to slander someone without accountability.  I hope people who read this type of information realize it may be inaccurate and can be used maliciously in a fashion to serve ulterior motives.  Thanks you   Ken Blackman NMD

Needak Rebounders - Web Sites

#4UPDATE Employee

Fri, April 13, 2012

Needak Manufacturing began producing rebounders in 1990 and is highly regarded as the last US manufacturer of rebounders and leader in rebounder quality.  Over the years we have had 2 web sites.  Our old web site, http://www.Needak-Rebounders.com exists to receive customers from older advertising and printed materials as well as long-time customers.  Our new web site, http://www.NeedakRebounders.com provides a different experience for our customers and is used in all of our current marketing.

Needak rebounders are offered for sale by hundreds of stores, healthcare professionals, and individuals.  Many of our resellers have web sites and some of the domains listed in the complaint are legitimate resellers.  We require our resellers to post a disclaimer on each page of their site that states that the web site is not owned or controlled by Needak Manufacturing.  We allow resellers to use the phrase "authorized dealer/reseller" on their site and marketing.  We also allow web sites that exclusively offer our brand of rebounder to use the Needak name in marketing.  However, any website claiming to be the "Official Needak website" that does not direct to the two domains listed above or asks you to register a rebounder through a website that is not shown in the printed warranty should be approached with suspicion.

Another point of concern are "review" web sites.  From our experience, those that ask for customer data are actually collecting sales leads for our competitors.  Some use a question and answer format to help guide you to "the best rebounder for you."  These are elaborate affiliate sites directing customers to our competitors.

If you have any specific question about a reseller, do not hesitate to contact us at NeedakSales@NeedakRebounders.com and we can confirm if the web site or individual is an authorized reseller.  Of course you are always welcome to place your order through our web site at http://www.NeedakRebounders.com
