This is how they trick their customers: First, their moving consultant will talk to you very nicely so you will sign the contract and give them deposit. As soon as you put down 35% deposit, the consultant you have been talking to wont talk to you anymore. Next, when the carrier (different company) comes to pack and load your household items, they wont tell you anything about the extra charges. One day before they deliver to your new location, the carrier will call you and let you know that you have to pay much more than the original quote, as agreed on the contract. They can always come up with some things such as your household items are more weight, more packing materials, more times, etc. Now, you have already paid 35% deposit and all your household items are in their truck. You have two choices, either you pay them whatever they want or you will lose your deposit and all your household items. Their contract was written so that there is no way you can sue them, besides they know that the government wont do anything.

Here is my case: After talking to them many times on the phones and emails, I gave Neighbors Moving and Storage exactly 27 items need to be moved from Cleveland to Orlando, plus 20 boxes, packing materials, pack, load, delivery, unload... as you can see in my email to the moving consultant in the following paragraph. . After I paid the deposit, the moving consultant who I have been talking to didn't even talk to me anymore. During the packing and loading, I was told that because the truck was full, 4 items on my items list couldn't be loaded and they only used 15 boxes from the 20 boxes which I paid, including packing materials and labors. According to the contract, they were supposed to refund me for those 4 items left behind plus 5 boxes which were not used. But surprise me the next day, the carrier company called and told me that I have to pay about $1000 more in addition to whatever was on the contract. And they came up with something like packing materials, packing, etc. I refused to pay any more than what was agreed on the contract and now they put all my household items in storage.

- Here is my email to their moving consultant: ------------------------------------------------------------- Ron, We checked all items one more times to make sure you have all of them on your list. Following are the latest items lists. Including boxes, packing materials, pack, load, delivery, unload, etc. what would be the cost. Thanks. XXXX
