Complaint Review: Neil G. Dubro DMD

I underwent dental implant surgery on my lower mouth on May 27, 2013.  This surgery caused very much pain and suffering immediately, causing me to seek out a different implant surgery specialist to remove one of the three implants that were placed in my mouth.  Within a couple of months of my surgery, the second implant just simply fell out of my mouth.  Now, I do have one of the three posts still left on the bottom of my mouth, which is causing my lower denture to just move around in my mouth and I am constantly having to place dental adhesives in my lower denture plate.  I cannot eat really anything other than soft or liquid foods.  I do drink three Ensure drinks per day, simply trying to get the proper nutrients and vitamins in my body for my health.  I have lost more than 30 pounds so far, and do realize that I will continue to keep losing weight until I find someone who can fix this mess in my mouth.

     I did let Dr. Dubro know of my situation, and he told me he would fly me back to  Denver, Colorado, and try to fix things.  However, I am quite frankly too afraid to have him do anything in my mouth ever again.  I have ended up paying in excess of $8,000 so far, and need more work at this time to get the problem fixed.  Dr. Dubro should  have not performed this surgery I am finding out now, because I had been taking bone pills and have problems with my bones being very thin and weak.  I am definitely not a candidate for dental implants I have since found out from other implant specialist doctors.

    I would hope to get at least some of my money spent to Dr. Dubro back, in order to be able to get the mess he made of my mouth straightened out.  Without this, my health and weight will continue to be poor and I will be unable to do anything about this.  Since my surgery with Dr. Dubro at New Image Dental Implant Center, I relocated to Wichita, Kansas.  I am currently hoping to have a dental implant specialist here in Wichita, Kansas, to correct this problem made by Dr. Dubro. 

     I cannot believe Dr. Dubro would do absolutely nothing about giving at least part of my money back, as his work in my mouth was completely unsatisfacory.  I was not a dental implant candidate in the first place, but I believed and trusted in Dr. Dubro.  Now, I honestly do have a very big problem in my mouth because of his inadequate surgery.
