This company refuses to acknowledge ANY forms sent in for UNEMPLOYEMT. If you forebear more than ONCE in a six month period, they try to collect at the end of the first. You have to back date any forebearance forms and cannot file them back to back.

Company refuses to discharge FEDERAL STUDENT LOANS, amidst FEDERAL LAWSUIT which keeps climbing for them. so far its at 2.5 million, to include student loan account payoff and credit cleanup.

Attempting to cut level 3 broadband line to company because of suit as well as harassing phone calls, which according to the FCC are in violation of federal law.[mobile device and VOIP lines DO COUNT here.] I have both, and refuse a land line for this specific reason.

harassing emails and phone calls do not cease despite several cease and desist letters sent certified mail.

company is attempting to default my loans and s**t on my credit.recommend class action lawsuit against company.[need federal court, though, as dept of ed is really your defendant as well.]

am taking my suit to the credit grantor, the dept of ed. and nelnet as individuals SOLELY responsible and am charging the balance to EACH.

I suggest others involved with nelnet do same. The government can pay your court costs in federal court if you cannot.otherwise its $350 a case.

Would suggest an attorney who can deal with this lender assist me at once.

Sorry about unemployment

Nelnet financed my student loans and I have had no problems with them at all. If fact, not one single person from Nelnet has ever been in contact with me. The reason; I PAY MY BILL ON TIME EVERY MONTH! I am sorry to hear about you losing your job, but Nelnet gave you thousands of dollars for you to use for your education. THEY EXPECT TO BE PAID BACK. I have been without work and was still able to work with them. Do you think that just because you are unemployed you do not have to pay your bills? Try that with your car, your house, anything else you have an installment loan on and see what happens. You are the exact reason companies like Nelnet are getting out of the education lending arena. You think that you are entitled to an education with out paying for it, and cause the company that allowed you to go to college on their dime to suffer the consequences. No you are causing Nelnet to raise their interest rates for other people who have student loans with them all becuase some DEADBEAT doesn't want to pay his bill because he doesn't have a job. Its time to grow up and be an adult. Pay your bills ontime and this situation will go away.
