Complaint Review: Nelson Watson & Associates - Danielle And Ryan

My title says it all! Most of the other posts in this forum are extremely accurate as to how they treat you. I have been doing some research about this firm. They have a bad reputation in ALL other forums I have dropped in on. I'm pretty sure I don't owe the debt. I don't, nor ever had an acct. with HSBC bank.

I have some friends who are attorneys who have steered me in the right direction as to how I should deal with them. I have begun documenting all contact. They have already violated my rights under FDCPA on several different grounds.

Here are just a few of the things they have done to me:
1) They have not disclosed the original creditor in writing as I have asked for repeatedly.
2) They have continued to call and harrass me after I told them not to and that I am disputing the debt.
3) Did not read me my Mini Miranda rights on several occasions.
4) Threatened me with legal action for Asking for Proof of debt. if I did not pay immediately.


According to the FTC, the Attorney General of the State of Massachussetts, and several other resources I investigated they are actually liable to me now whether I do owe them a debt or not! In fact if the debt is beyond the statute and I do owe them I may just offer them my sacks! :)
