I planned on cancelling Neopets Premium services when it came up for renewal, however, I never had a notification that it was anytime before I was billed for it. I called and tried to cancel and get a refund. The cancelling wasn't too hard except for the phone wait time but the refund was a no go. I even tried contacting parent company Viacom. Most other companies are flexible and just because they can stick it to you doesn't mean they will. Neopets does not care about keep customers. I was simply told that it was stated in my terms of agreement and that the renewal date was included in my previous bill. I've looked through all my emails as well as my original Paypal statement and it is not listed anywhere. 

Yes, I agreed to the terms (and probably without reading it because who really does?). But even if I did, that would require me to find a calendar for next year and place a date on it that says "Cancel Neopets Premium" before the date on there. So why could they not be courteous and simply notify me that I was up for renewal? Why can't you cancel online? I have had to call and then recall after it disconnected my so many times now I'm losing it.

Neopets is a very inconsiderate service and I will be boycotting all of Viacom's merchandise through next Christmas. With a little girl, that will hurt their business not selling any Dora toys or clothing items for two years and this goes for my whole family. If you want to stick it to a company, tell everyone how they are and prevent money from flowing into their wallets.
