I had a nsf on another account at Net Bank transfered money from one account to pay the other because I was unaware of that transfer and I had made a purchase. As a result a nsf occured. The bank put a hold on my account anything in, nothing out. As a result I was held up to pay my bills, including my electric bill who had me on a budget and it was important to be paid by a set due date.

I afer spending almost a day on the phone with Net Bank trying to get them to release the hold and let me get my bills paid now that the nsf was cleared. They refused telling me they couldnt. I know of someone else that had netbank and they released the hold. Netbank is just being unreasonable.

The said my account is closed as per my request and it would take 7 to 10 business days for them to mail my account balance. Another stall tactic. I requested overnight delivery and they said it would cost me 25.00 and yes they would take it out of my account. But now I have to wait for a pending purchase of 14.77 to clear.

So my question is how did I make that purchase with a hold on my account, nothing out. I was told the hold was lifted and put back on with my request to close the account. Ok I said so lift the hold for me to pay my bills. Well they refuse. This is just the first complaint in a long line of complaints I will be making today against NetBank.com.
