Do NOT purchase Net Detective from this company! It is a TOTAL ripoff!!! They make claims that you will be able to search anyone and practically anything. They tell you that you can obtain your FBI report. Well...guess how??? With a street address that they provide you! It is totally ridiculous!

I fell for this and I feel stupid. All they give you is very simple website addresses that you could EASILY find on your own in any kind of Yahoo or other search. Some of the things they tell you that you can research you CAN NOT!!! You have to be in the law profession in order to do it....they do NOT say this in their advertisement!

False Advertising, Total Rip-Off, Possible SCAM. I will not be surprised if this company somehow goes out of business before I ever see my refund. **** OH! To get a refund, you HAVE to fill out a form and MAIL it to them!! Even if you pay by credit card...where most companies will just do it automatically!!!!!! Absolutely ludicrous!

I am doing EVERY thing I can to destroy this company. Help me with this, please. I HATE thieves! Whoever came up with this site should be sued!!! I will absolutely take them to court if they do not refund my money immediately...and I hope I can start up a class-action lawsuit as well. I will update this report when and if I do.

Don't Negotiate with Cons--They Always Win

#2Consumer Suggestion

Sat, March 23, 2002

Laura,

If you paid by credit card then you should file a fraud complaint of misrepresentation and receive a charge back.

If you paid by check then you should file in your nearest courthouse in small claims. Take your cancelled check in order to get a bank account to garnish when you win, which you probably will since they may not show up.

Never negotiate with a con--they always come out on top.

Good Luck
