Because I wasn't using my "Unlimited" $50.00 Monthy Plan and wanted to go back to my basic 20.00 basic plan on a phone I had used with Net10 in the past.

When I called customer service and explained to the repersentitive what I wanted to do.  He said that they could transfer back to my basic phone but would have to pay for the unlimited plan at $35.00 and that was the least expensive plan.

I explained that I wasn't interested in an unlimitted plan and wanted to down-grade back to my old basic "no firls" phone.  He then told me that there were no other plans less than $35.00 in existance.

I told him that, that wasn't true and have recently seen plans for $20.00 and $25.00, and that my roommate had just purchased the $20.00 just a few days ago.  He seemed to struggle for what to say "but the unlimited....."  I stopped him before he could finish because I felt he either had no idea of the products he was selling or was attempting a bait and switch thing, and I asked to speak with a supervisor.  He said that he was the supervisor; so I asked to speak to someone else.  He told me he would transfer me to a Manager.

I was then put on hold for almost 40 minutes before I was transfered to a Manager where I explained my experience with the so-called supervisor.  He didn't seem to care.  So I told him that I would no-longer be a customer of Net10 or any of it subsideries.  He didn't seem to care about that either.

Everthing went well when I was upgrading and paying more, but when I tried to down-grade.... Nothing but problems, and the worst customer serivce I had ever experienced.
