Netdropshipper.com Deceptive, Missing & Broken Parts, Lies, Rotten Customer Service, False Advertising Los Angeles California
This company offers dropshipping for internet resellers on electronic products and many other items. I have ruined my Ebay rating using them. They state on their website:
"All orders are processed and shipped within 1 to 2 business days" - I put in orders that took over 5 days to ship.
" All shipping charges are calculated based on FedEx shipping rates. We use destination zip code and total weight of the products ordered to determine accurate shipping price. Please visit www.fedex.com for shipping rates using origin zip code 90023 - Los Angeles, CA" -
HA! I did that on my first order using the info listed in their product descrip (weight & dimensions). When I placed the order, the shipping was much higher than the fedex quote. Email to cust serv to inquire why and was told by one person dropship fee of $1.50 incl (not true, dropship fee was listed as a separate item). Second person told me it was because fedex had "hidden charges for oversized boxes"
I placed an order and paid by debit card and listed some of these Playstation systems on Ebay. I sold six of them over the weekend.
When I went into their site to check out how much shipping & taxes were going to be for a buyer, their checkout system changed the address on the order I had just placed. Which had been authorized on my debit card. I emailed them to change the address back to the original and was told the order was canceled as their system is "automated" and I would have to reorder. Ok no big deal! Except, 4 days later I'm still waiting for them to release the funds they authorized on my card. Many phone calls and emails later, someone tells me that it's a problem with my bank to call them. I do. My bank tells me netdropshipper has to release the authorization. I call back after many busy signals and "automated" messages. And am told "I am being as polite about this as I can, we never charged your debit card"
Then I place the orders for the systems I sold on Ebay.
Their Website Says:" Our methodology is simple: Sell first, buy Later this way our customers don't have to deal with any inventory costs. Once you sell a product for profit, simply log in to your NetDropshipper.com account, select the product you wish to ship to your customer and we will do all the work. It's that simple. - RIGHT!!
There's been a $20 price increase on all Playstations. I email again asking if they would honor the prices for systems sold at the old price? I was told yes the price didn't go into effect until Monday. I put the orders in on Sunday and got hit with all the higher prices. Still haven't seen a credit. PLUS it takes up to 5 days to ship them out, then the tracking link doesn't work until the package is almost at it's destination. It says package not in Fedex possession.
By the way, no one here ever gives a name on emails or phone calls. When I finally did nail down one particular person who told me to call him so we could discuss my problems. I called for three days straight. Only to be hung up on, put on hold and disconnected, told he was in a meeting, out of the office, or just too busy to talk. Talked to one guy who said I could tell him what was going on "He had the Power" only to find out I had to talk to the first guy who was dodging my calls and emails. He didn't have the power.
The first order arrives to the Buyer: One of the components looks like it came from a flea market, used, scratched up, not working, box falling apart.
Their website says: "All emails are answered within 24 hours or sooner" - Took 4 days to get a response to get a return authorization.
My order arrives - Same component in same condition AND missing 2 other major components of the system. Four days later, I'm still waiting for a reply.
3rd Order arrives - OK
4th Order arrives - missing two major components of the system.
3 days later, I'm still waiting for a reply.
5th Order arrives - Component doesn't work. Waiting for a return authorization.
6th Order arrives - OK
7th Order placed when check cleared. Item is out of stock. Made a compromise withthe buyer and shipped different system with extras out of my pocket. 4 days later it still hasn't shipped.
8th Order ships USPS - Tracking link leads to Fedex site. There is no tracking.
Their website Says: "We pride ourselves on making our Customers a number one priority. Our success comes only with success of our Customers" - THIS THE JOKE OF THE CENTURY !!
Stay away from this company. I'll be totally surpised if at the end of this journey, I don't get booted off of Ebay because I bought into slick packaging and BS lies. Not to mention, the 7 kids out there who got half of what their parents paid over $300 for.
I will be turning them into the BBB (yeah I know big deal but at least the mainstreamers will have a way to find out too) and possibly the FTC Internet fraud division.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!

I find it interesting after reading all the rebuttals from "Liz" that in one of her rebuttals at the very end she says..."I'd even be willing to work with NetDropShipper.com and whip their company into shape". Why after all the harsh verbiage would you even consider working with them. Maybe you should have thought about working "with them" in the first place. I believe it is better to work it out rather than take it out on one another. If you are a true business "woman" (and you do sound very intelligent and knowledgeable)than please, I hope that you will learn from the experience and make changes or corrections for next time.

This company outright lied in their response
#16Author of original report
Tue, February 01, 2005
This company outright lied in their response to the BBB. They cancelled my account stating I was in violation of their terms and conditions after I reported them and in retaliation. These terms and conditions are new to their website, probably to cover themselves from litigation. I could care less that they cancelled my account. I wouldn't use them again if they paid me! Fortunately, I printed out their entire website (including their terms and conditions and privacy policy)BEFORE they had a chance to change it. If anyone needs a copy of the printout of their site, I will be more than happy to provide it for you. I also have their statement here that my complaints were right as well as copies of all our emails. I am following through by mail so that I can include all of the evidence of their fradulent practices and their attempt to protect themselves AFTER the fact and hold people to agreements that were not valid at the time of sale. If my account was in violation, they should have cancelled it BEFORE they took my money and screwed up my reputation and many others as well.
They pushed all the wrong buttons with me. Now, I will meet with an attorney and pursue more than just a small claim. I encourage other people who have dealt with this company and been burned to do the same.

Just as I expected more lies
#16Author of original report
Sat, January 15, 2005
Well, just as I expected I finally received the missing components of my PS2 system and it DID NOT have an extra game thrown in as Netdropshipper indicated in their rebuttal. In addition, they do not answer my emails AT ALL at this point eventhough we still have outstanding issues.
STEVE from TX: All I can say to you, is that I did check out (thoroughly) this dropshipper before I did business with them. your comment of delays "to be expected at Christmas, the time when all retail endeavors get disorganized despite good planning." holds no water as Netrdropshipper themselves admitted they did not plan properly. Nor does it give them the right to totally disregard their customers.
Your comment "You can't blame your suppliers for what happens with your company". I can and I will continue to blame them because I posted my listings on Ebay using their guidelines and FAQ's. Seems like the FTC agrees with me also as they have laws in place that cover this type of transaction. Please see:
http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/mailorder.htm
It is Netdropshippers responsibilty and legal obligation to follow through within those laws. It is also my own responsibility to the customers who bought from me. I followed the law, Netdropshipper continues to be purposefully negligent.
My complaint with this company is not only with it's lousy customer service, but orders that are sent with missing parts they refuse to replace(eventhough I followed their FAQ procedures), parts that were represented as new and under full manufacturers warranty that were sent used, broken and no warranty, credits that were promised and not received. I can understand an ocassional error, but screwups on 7 out of 8 orders is beyond my patience. This is fradulent behavior no matter which way you slice it.
As far as my business experience, I was defending myself against a company who was trying to portray to the general public that I was not knowledgable in the wholesale business by listing my accomplishments in the business world that showed not only in depth experience but experience in many different industries. I wasn't bragging just stating the facts to dispute their thoughts on my capabilities and knowledge.
As far as expecting a refund that eventually will come... This company can't even acknowledge an email or answer a phone. Nothing in my dealings with them indicates that they would follow through with issuing a refund. As a matter of fact, since I posted this information about them, they continually ignore my emails eventhough we have outstanding business. Guess they're a little ticked that I made their screwups public and wouldn't let them intimidate me.
Well, I've got news for them...As I indicated in an email to them;If they don't take care of these problems by 01-18-05, I am not only filing a complaint with EVERY AGENCY who will listen, but will also file a legal suit against them in Fla courts. In addition, I will make this information easily available to others who are having the same problems with Netdropshipper.
So far I have found 5 people who are having the same problems;I find new ones everyday.
Yes, Steve, I will continue to expect excellent customer service and follow through from my dropshippers and I will have this same reaction to any company who treats their customers rudely and negligently. I have since found several other dropshippers to deal with and have had ZERO problems, excellent customer service, fast shipping and no surprises.
I am listing the following links for anyone else who would like to file reports against this company. If you can prove that they are in violation of federal,CA or your local laws regarding transactions of this type and it resulted in current or future monetary loss(bad rating on Ebay),you can file a small claim against them where you live locally and report them to your local law enforcement agency.

The Importance of Disclaimers & True Success
#16Consumer Suggestion
Mon, January 10, 2005
I feel that Liz and Chris were both being too critical of netdropshipper.com. I can believe things did not go as planned, but it is to be expected at Christmas, the time when all retail endeavors get disorganized despite good planning.
We have sold on eBay for a while, and we researched all dropshippers very well before listing any of their items on our auctions or in one of our eBay stores. We also read all the tips and followed the guidance both from the dropshipping companies as well as from eBay. It is very important for customers to know that due to unexpected reasons, items may not be sent out in a timely manner. Never promise it unless you yourself are the one at the post office sending the package on its way. Even then, sometimes things happen during shipping, so you have to insure everything. You can expect things to run out of stock during this season. The only way to avoid this is to order a couple of these items to have as back-ups. Basically, don't assume anything and always have yourself covered. That is why companies use disclaimers to protect themselves.
As a business person, Liz should be concerned with her customer service instead of netdropshipper.com's. First of all, the customer sees her company, not that of netdropshipper.com. Any problems that company has are her problems as well. You can't blame your suppliers for what happens with your company. Customers don't care what goes on behind the scenes, just that they get their product from you. Offer refunds instead of having customers wait. Customers can be very impatient and I have found that many times they would prefer to go on with their cash to buy somewhere else rather than wait, and we have even gotten good feedback for refunding for this reason. Most of the time you have to front the refund money to your customer and wait for the refund, but it always comes. Good business is not how much you profit, but how well you treat your customers.
Just because someone has knowlege of many different businesses, does not make them an expert in business. I have had many business myself, a couple that have made money, but several that have failed. Turning around businesses does not teach someone to be a better business person, actually failure is the best teacher. Therefore, learn from this experience and add to your knowledge. Bragging does not make anyone look better.
In conclusion, if you have major problems with netdropshipper.com, you will have the same problems with every other major dropshipper. Will you have the same reaction?

More deception. Maybe if they would have taken as much time to correspond with their dissatified customers as they did on trying the clear their name publicly, they wouldn't have such posts and problems.
#16Author of original report
Sun, January 09, 2005
I just checked their website. Isn't it amazing that the prices on the playstations went down AFTER Christmas, but didn't go all the way down to the original prices. They increased $20 during the height of Christmas season (my guess is when they realized they were one of the few who had them available) then dropped it down $10 after Christmas. Guess they have to keep it competitive AFTER the "BIG GUYS" got their supply at the regular price, but it seems like they tried to rook the cusomters they know they had over a barrel during Christmas.
On top of that, there are even more bad reports on them at
http://www.wholesale411.com/bbs/search.php
just type their name into the search box.
On that site they threatened a woman with legal action if she didn't remove the correspondance she posted that came from their sales dept because it was a direct violation of their terms and conditions. I perceive that to mean that posting personal info from them is a legal violation. Furthermore, that means they violated the law themselves by posting my sales fugures on this site.
I couldn't believe the nasty things they said to and about this person. Maybe if they would have taken as much time to correspond with their dissatified customers as they did on trying the clear their name publicly, they wouldn't have such posts and problems.
I'll keep y'all posted.

More lies
#16Consumer Comment
Fri, January 07, 2005
I filed this original report and have something to say about their rebuttal which is another exercise in misleading and deceptive practices.
1. I quote "The missing components from the PS2 bundles were mailed out with extra games (At no charge) just to compensate for the missing time."
These items were requested 12/15/03 for two orders. I get an email 12/23/03 stating they would be shipped out next Thursday 12/30/03. After several more emails requesting tracking numbers and return authorizations, I finally get an email on 01/05/2004 (do you notice it is the day they rebutted my report)stating the items have been shipped. That's 21 days to retify this situation and they STILL didn't recity all of the problems. They only shipped the items on one order NOT both orders missing the DVD playback kits and extra controllers. So much for the extra help they hired to handle the heavy volume. Although I appreciate the extra game (if it was even included - skepticism based on past experiences) this doesn't help me with the other buyer who is waiting for his order to be completed and is pretty upset. I would have rather had the missing components addressed in full and in a timely manner. The extra game does not make up for my Ebay reputation being ruined.
2. I quote "This lady sold $2,000 worth of the PS2 systems over 2 days and made a very nice profit from all of her sales which she failed to mention in this post."
First of all, how dare you publicize my transactions and what you perceive to be my Profit margin when you don't have a clue. Just goes to show their " "We pride ourselves on making our Customers a number one priority. Our success comes only with success of our Customers" is a Joke just like I said.
To be exact, I sold $1674.94 worth of systems (6 systems)that weekend plus ordered one for my son. By the time Ebay fees and Paypal fees were taken out of this, I made approx $60 profit ($10 per system) BEFORE the price increase of $20. So, in all reality it COST ME over $80 ($20 increase less $10 profit per system = $10 out of pocket per system ($10 x 6 systems = $60)plus $20 increase on my own system WHICH WAS PLACED BEFORE THE INCREASE BUT HIT WITH HIGHER PRICES ANYWAY) out of my own pocket plus having to send extras (one ordered through netdropshipper and the other bought from another Ebayer- add another $25 to the $80) to one buyer to make up for the non availabilty on the item she purchased. So where's this "very nice profit" I made? Better yet, where is the credit they promised me (12/14/03) for systems sold at the old prices? Guess that will take another 12 emails and 6 faxes and 30 phone calls (a rough estimate)!
And that's just for me to break even not even for a PROFIT as they claim I made.
3. I quote "It would also be nice if she understood about the Wholesale business in general."
I've got news for you, I do understand the wholesale business. I do taxes for a living and wouldn't be in business too long if I didn't understand MANY different types of businesses. Previous to that, I was a consultant for businesses just like Netdropshipper who had problems within their businesses whether it be bottlenecks, employee dissatifaction( high turnover), accounting functions or start ups who needed a guiding hand.
I have ran multi-million dollar companies in construction, asbestos abatement, plastics manufacturing, cable headend installation, MLM/Network marketing,Advertising co-ops and internet marketing. Several of which, I turned around in less than 6 months from a loss to a generous profit and many happy stockholders. One MLM company (a small home office recognized a $56,000 profit per MONTH after my reorg and was able to pay off a 300 acre farm mortgage in one year and retire from Ford early). I still do work for this company even though I moved and live 1200 miles away now! Not to mention, not only opening my own successful business & tax services office but overseeing the operations of two other tax preparer offices. So, as you can see I am not your typical Ebayer and I understand the nature of business completely not just Wholesalers.
I also understand extremely poor customer service and follow through which continues even after the "extra staff was hired". Although I do admit, I get a reply to my emails within 48 hours now. They still do not address ALL the problems and that causes a ridiculous amount of time and effort on my part to get them to follow through.
You shouldn't make promises you can't keep and base your business (and expect others to base their retail businesses) on a mission statement and creedo that you are not capable of following through on.
4. If you knew these "PS2 systems were sold out all over the country and you were one of the few who had them" and KNOWING it was Christmas crunch season, You should have staffed appropriately BEFORE the holiday rush or noted on your PS2 systems that delays are to be expected. You did neither!
By the way, does anyone notice that they NEVER addressed the components (racing steering wheel) that were shipped and don't work (2 orders) and arrived looking like they were bought at a yard sale or flea market with no paperwork or instructions?
My own steering wheel worked but the box it came in looked just like the other buyers said they did. In addition, their website says all products are covered under the manufacturers warranty. The manufacturer of these steering wheels is not even in business anymore. Therefore, no warranty.
The best part is I have found a great market for their items besides Ebay where I could make a nice profit and still pass along savings to the buyers. I had a PS1 bundle listed with them (before all this BS happened)and just got an inquiry wanting to know how many were in stock and the buyer wanted as many as I could get my hands on. I had to delete the listing and inform the potential buyer that I no longer deal with this dropshipper because of numerous problems with the product and shipping. Guess we all lost out. Netdropshipper on the sales, me on the profit and the buyer on good deal.
I was hoping that my relationship with Netdropshipper would have been a lucrative deal for both of us. I had planned on opening an Ebay store carrying their products exclusively. Now I am in search of another dropshipper/wholesaler.
Other than the fiasco with Netsropshipper, I really enjoyed selling on Ebay and meeting all kinds of people. I am determined to find another supplier and recoup my reputation on Ebay.
I'd even be willing to work with Netdropshipper and whip their company into shape. I do beleive this company has a great potential but needs some serious structuring, business/customer service procedures & retraining.

And as a retail store owner i would feel violated and angry if one of my wholesaler's ever made public what profit i may make on a sale.
And i quote "This lady sold $2,000 worth of the PS2 systems over 2 days and made a very nice profit from all of her sales which she failed to mention in this post."
I for one would now never use your services and I hope that many many people see this report.

This lady is right.
NetDropshipper.com did experience an overwhelming amount of volume for the Holidays.
Our phones were ringing non stop and receiving over 1000 emails per day was very hard to manage.
Since that time frame NetDropshipper.com has hired more staff to take care of the Phones & Emails.
The missing components from the PS2 bundles were mailed out with extra games (At no charge) just to compensate for the missing time.
The price increase for the PS2 was made because Sony did not produce enough of the PS2 systems for the Holidays and our prices were raised by our supplier by $32.00 when NetDropshipper.com only raised the price by $20.00 for it's customers.
No where in the United States these PS2 units were available in any of the retail stores, even giants like Wal-Mart and Best Buy did not carry the PS2 systems for the Holidays.
NetDropshipper.com was one of the very few places that carried the PS2 systems and notified all of it's members few days before the price increase.
This lady sold $2,000 worth of the PS2 systems over 2 days and made a very nice profit from all of her sales which she failed to mention in this post.
It would also be nice if she understood about the Wholesale business in general.
