DropShip Design Legit according to Better Business Bureau
#18Consumer Comment

Wanting to use a dropshipping company myself, I did a little research on DropShip Design after seeing so many negative comments on Ripoff Report. I checked with the Better Business Bureau and made some interesting finds regarding DropShip Design.
In all the complaints and issues that have been filed with the Better Business Bureau and resolved and administratively closed (according to the BBB), the BBB determined the that the company (DropShip Design) made all reasonable efforts and offers to remedy consumer issues; however, in nearly every instance, the issues remained unresolved because of the consumers, NOT the company. After the company made reasonable and legitimate offers to remedy the situations, the consumer either a) did not accept the offer, b) chose to remain dissatisfied, or c) in some cases, did not even acknowledge the acceptance of such complaints to the BBB in the first place.
In addition, the BBB stated:
"In the company's terms of service, it states that they do not endorse their customers filing complaints through third parties and doing so may result in membership termination.
When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints."
While there may be an exception once in awhile due to extenuating circumstances, sounds like to me for the most part, DropShip Design makes an effort to fairly deal with all customers who choose to comply with company regulations and resolve issues through the proper and correct channels.

Dropshipdesign not the same as netdropshipper

Ive been ripped off..to put it lightly from netdropshipper but eventually through alot of pain got my money back. I also ordered a "get your own netdropshipper website" from their icon which redirects to dropshipdesign. All the did was simply change the standard affiliate link one that looked like they owned it...which is no crime. But i felt the need to defend dropshipdesign. I orginally made complaints to them and if you deal with emails with them you will quickly learn they arn't related just by the professional tone they use.
What you should know is dropshipping is not even allowed on ebay...u must have items in your possesion..exactly for these reasons. is 50% of ebay sales dropshipped...im sure..but its still against the rules. I just opt for the website business. It took a year but I now avg. 1-2k a month. It doesnt happen like magic..it takes works..you must learn about seo, page rank, link popularity and drive traffic to your site. If you just let you webpage sit there it wont get any sales yet alone traffic. Are the prices true wholesale..no..can you make a profit..yes. perfume is probablly the most popular selling and i also add google adwords to my site which makes me about 150-200 monthly.
If you are ever going to buy true wholesale you need a states sales tax id, resale permit, and such documents, which most people dont want to do which is why these companies are popular and a the very few good companies out there like that are a decent middle ground for the avg. person to go on.

I purchased this same program and yes it was expensive but it's a real deal program. Once you purchase it and log in you'll see what I'm talking about.
They update it all the time and personally test the drop shippers before they approve them to be on the site.
You really can't go wrong. You can check with BBB.org and also http://ripoffreport.com/ to check on ANY COMPANY YOU'RE LEARY of.
I seen someone mentioned MegaGoods.com ... DON'T DO IT.... Also, netdropshipper.com is the same.. no cust service and they will try to take your money and never ship anything to your customers.. Any company that claims to be a true wholesaler and doesn't ask for a tax id # is a MIDDLE MAN. Getting that tax ID cost me $10 which was spent on registering a company name here in my county.. My state (Michigan) doesn't let you file for the Sales Tax License online so it took forever. I do know that there are alot of states that let you do it online which is sooooooooo much quicker than snail mail. Then you fill out the forms for your state and they'll send you a Sales Tax License..

Don't be fooled by what people are telling you. Dropshipdesign is a Partner with Netdropshipper becasue the products that are advertised and sold are netdropshipper's (or netdropfrauder)products.
Now dropshipdesign offered me a refund last month and when I wrote back to them telling them I would take it, they never responded.
Netdropfrauder still owes me for refunds that I have delivery confirmation from the USPS that indicated that they recieved the shippment for return. Not only did I send with the package all of the information they asked for, I put copies of all the email's leading up to the return but they never refunded me. Also, they charged $150.00 for delivery of a products that we had several email to them to be positive the product we were ordering was what we wanted. The assured us it was and when the product was delivered, it was not what they advertised. Again several emails and the same stall tactics to make sure you give up. Under that circumstance, the customer should not be responsible for return shipping and they could have put in for a return pickup but they do not care about you as a consumer or reseller. They will just stall until you give up.
It would be nice if they really were concerned about the customer satisfaction. This was all I was looking for is just someone that know what they were talking about and someone to finish what was started in the email dialog. (since they do not care enough to handle the real issues that bring them bad publicity) The real issue here is your business or their lack of customer service is no concern of their, only taking your money is!

I was recently ripped off by a very similar network called getestore (or Universal Banner Network) - I think they are the same bunch of scamers as the LA, Califoria lot (which is also using a forwarding address to god knows where)
The sign up fee is less but they still run the same "Scam Pattern"
- people might think ah! you're just gullible, but I disagree. I've been on-line promoting affiliate programs - that allow the use of top brand merchandise advertising on your website - on a commission only basis - I see alot of advertising - I also can normally spot a scam a
mile off.
This kind of scam is more blatant - "it's not a send me a hundred dollars & I will make you rich" or fake/replica goods.
These Bogus Dropship Companies are using big brand names, their logos, their reputations as bait to home workers that use the Internet most days, like me.
Faced with a website that has all the brands offical logos on it, it looks legit.
This scam will eventually fold (as they do), & they will find another way of getting money, but in the mean time why are the big Corperations letting their trademarks be used on fake store fronts ??? Example:
Both netdropshipper & Universal Banner Network have obviously chosen the pictures of the iPod, Xbox 360, The PlayStation 2, a tft laptop & a
camcorder because they know many eBay sellers will have searched eBay's "Pulse" where the top 10 eBay most recent searches are shown - any eBay seller is going to try and get some of those top 10 goods (that people want to buy)
- so they go looking for them - and the next obvious stop is dropshipping. As if you can't afford to buy in bulk (or you want to outsource shipping to the warehouse) it is the most pratical solution -
The problem is the scam website & the real one's are selling the same products (I'm talking
just about the USA store fronts)
The scam sites are using product images (stock photos)& imply throught those images they will/can provide those goods to customers on your behalf for the fee Product from companies like SMC (Speciality Merchandise Corporation) The world of Products Catalog, Doba.com aka wholesale marketer/CKB products/hotgifts4u/ezdropship are all have items in these scam stores - So are they all in on it together ??? or have these scam websites ripped off other legit dropship websites as well as taking Sony & Apple Trade marks?
On another forum someone recommeded speaking to the FBI about it, and I took it as a joke, but these crooks are STILL right this minute getting sign ups & on the false pretence that there is a service on offer.
"you'll get the service you deserve" they boast.
They should also get the service they deserve...

I also am an affiliate of dropshipdesign.com. I operate a website stocked with their products, and provide MY OWN customer service. Now, I HAVE had some disagreements with them, and believe they can do some things a lot better ( the pricing on some items is a joke)I am not yet sure if I need to file a complaint.I have had questionable service through e-mails though. There have been only 2 instances where I sold a product and it was no longer available. In both cases, I recieved an e-mail and a refund within 1 week, and in keeping good communication with my customer, there were no bad feelings or bad feedback.
I have seen some things that are questionable in nature, but I have made back most of my investment, and don't have any angry customers at this time.
As far as a class-action lawsuit against future earnings,.....if things continue on a downward course.
Now one thing I MUST point out....
Dropshipping itself IS NOT A RIPOFF. There are a ton of respectable dropship companies, and wholesalers that will make a deal with you to dropship their products for them. You just have to do your research, and go with your gut. try looking at www.marketingbrands.com you will see what I mean.

Net Dropshipper.com is just an affiliate of Dropship Design.com, not in any way the same company.
I have been a member of Dropship Design.com and know they are located in Washington State, not in Los Angeles.
I am also an affiliate of Dropship Design.com.
Don't mix companies unless you know for sure they are the same company.
We don't need to make some other company's reputation get smeared just because NetDropshipper.com is a bad company.

I purchased an item from dropshipdesign and it was one of my worst internet experiences ever. The item was a portable tv, the size of the box was 2'x2'x6". It was shipped in a 3'x3'x3' box with no packing material. Obviously it was broken upon receipt. I sent the item back then waited for a response from customer service. They tried to claim that the tv worked and I would be charged a "restocking fee" (at least that is what I could obtain from the mispelled and sloppy writing).
When I asked them to look into the problem again I received this response "I guess by broken you mean dosent work" and "inv.d012e8-84328 just to let you know that this item is broken, plaese note so 20% restocking fee will not be charged." - note the excellent grammer.
They never refunded my restocking fee. I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge.
These guys are worthless - no customer support, no return emails, no one answers the phone.
Lets get the D.A. to look into this scam company.

RECEIVED $150.00 REFUNDVIA PAY PAL DISPUTE FOR DROPSHIP DESIGN
#18Author of original report
Thu, November 24, 2005
Yesterday,
I filed a dispute with pay pal against DropShip Design and I did receive a refund of $150.00 on the one item left outstanding.
There is still the matter of the one time membership fee of $99.00 I want refunded...and what about listing fees and time spent trying to collect my customer's money... and loss to future income from netdropshipper and this company.
Netdropshipper did place a credit on my account, like I am going to order anything from them, right? I have to get my customer's the product they won, not another item... a real dropship company would know this. I think we all know what they are doing, they use our money to pay their financial obligations, therefore they don't have the money to do proper refunds.
I have contacted some of the sites they are partnered with, I feel like all advertisements of these 2 companies need to be removed from the web.
Also, anybody out there that has lost at the hands of netdropshipper, click on the banner on their page that says...we can build you a store or something similar...this takes you to the dropship design store. Look at this design real well...I have found site after site after site in wholesale guides that are really a part of drop ship design. These people operate just like netdropshipper.com, STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND ALL OF THEIR FRAUDULENT WEBSITES.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE IN bad dropshipper woes club!!

RECEIVED NOTICE OF CREDIT ON ACCOUNT--
#18Author of original report
Wed, November 23, 2005
Today, I was contacted by Email one by one on all orders;
Stating order canceled, out of stock, never shipped, and since it had never shipped my credit card had not been charged, only authorized. 3 out of 5 orders were charged and they want to give me a credit to use on their site. Why would I want to ever order from them again. It is time we all take a stand, and protect our interest. This company is single handledly destroying our reputation, feedback, and future income potential.
It is HIGH TIME someone squawks loud enough to get the officials looking at this company. For what they have done shutting them down is not good enough, they need to be prosecuted.
Today, I heard from another Ebayer stating they take 30 days to refund money to customers after orders are canceled; why was the credit card charged if the item was not in stock? why was deceptive practices in regards to shipping used...this is fraud.
What all this tells me, being in the accounting field for years, is this, they are operating out of proceeds, and changed their policies or make them as they go along, whichever; Operating out of Proceeds, using our money to keep them a float and holding on to it as long as they can, in other words, they don't have it, it's already spent. I have never seen a company operate out of proceds and survive, and if you are caught in the middle when they go down, well... you lose.
I urge everyone...contact Fedex Fraud, Visa (as they are visa certified, mastercard(Ebay, Pay Pal) Square Trade Seal, Federal Trade Commission, Attorney General's Office...alert all sites where you find their advertisement as to their deceptive practices. Contact National and Local Broadcast Medium to alert
as many people...retailers...wholesalers...etc. to stay away, or do business, caveat emptor (buyer beware) And this is illegal by the way. This is what they have done to us.
And...why is the owner of this company, hiding behind his shield... nobody answers the phone, live chat never online, telephone number not posted on website. Mr. Owner, how about correcting all of this and save your company, or just go down with the Titanic if you prefer.
Everybody on this site, regarding this company, even if you receive a refund, needs to file a class action suit for damages against future income. LET's band together. Send email through Rip of Report. com to me...together we can do something, let's show them we intend to keep our internet companies in guidelines too... Everyone needs an example. This would be a good one.
