I used their service for several months but found it did not meet my needs. As soon as I cancelled I received a stiff email informing me that if I did not return all DVDs within one week I would be charged. In accordance with their standard return policy I mailed all DVDs to them. They acknowledged receipt of two DVDs but then charged for a third which I had returned at the same time. This is a ripoff. Netflix.com's stated policy on loss in the mail is shown below and does not conform to their treatment of me.

Quote: Q: What happens if a movie is lost in the mail? Will I be charged for this movie?
A: Netflix uses the U.S. Postal Service to ship discs to our customers. We've found this method of delivery to be reliable and fast. However, we're aware that a disc may occasionally be lost during the shipping process through no fault of the customer. Therefore, it is our policy to accommodate for the occasional disc lost during shipment. If the quantity of lost discs reported by a customer becomes excessive, however, we will place the account under review and notify the customer via email.
