I was offered a free trial with this company. Within four hours of signing up they charged my card $24.20. They claim that my banking institution does this and it is a hold. My bank showed me the transaction and it clearly states that it is a merchant hold. I cancelled my free trial within 6 hours of signing up.

Until you completely sign up and have access to the "my account" part of the web page and have a problem so you know to go to the "help" page where they tell you that they Might do this, you have no notice that they will charge your card. I emailed them twice and have informed my bank that this was not an authorized transaction. They did this on a Thursday and come Monday if it is not removed my bank is taking action on the transaction. They have also helped me file a report. The bank told me that "free" means no charge and a hold on any money is the same as taking it.

This IS fraud and illegal so please beware.
