How was this issue resolved????

We have someone here, claiming to be from NetSpend, that says,

"We are glad that this has already been resolved and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Your account security and your privacy are very important to us. We work to provide you a secure experience by using industry leading security technology and adhering to the payment card industry's most stringent standards for protecting payment card information. To ensure that your account information remains secure, never write down your NetSpend account number or share your password with anyone.

Thank you,
NetSpend"

How exactly was this resolved? There are no indications anywhere that the resolve happened! Where is the confirmation from the consumer who made the report? Not only that, but the report was posted in August of 2012, and this NetSpend employee/shill is posting this on February 2013?? That's a red flag if I've ever seen one! The NetSpend employee/shill has NO idea who this customer IS! There is nothing to indicate who the consumer is, so how does this Netspend shill know that this was resolved??

It would NOT surprise me if it wasn't and this shill is going around to old posts and posting that it has been resolved, knowing that chances are, the comsumer no longer monitors their report! This is sickening Netspend! Seriously!! I hope you guys enjoy the Class Action Lawsuit that's coming your way! I will DEFINITELY be a part of it!

My biggest problems with Ace are the unprofessional staff members and the lack of locations in some places.  I have also been unhappy with the nickel and diming.

So here's what I am seriously thinking of doing:  Switching my direct deposit to a Walmart Moneycard VISA or Mastercard.  It just takes $3 to load and you can get cash at any ATM or with any purchase, and every Walmart is a "banking place".  Anything you can do with an ACE card, you can do at Walmart (remember, it's the VISA or MASTERCARD logo that matters, not the business).  Walmart actually has it's own bank and any funds deposited are FDIC protected.  Even if you keep your ACE card, you might want to just get and keep a Walmart card as a backup.

The only drawback is that you have to use discipline to not spend all your money at Walmart!

8 kids and your paycheck got siphoned...how Awful!

Hello-

I just found this website and your horrible story about your paycheck being siphoned out from NetSpend, going to a total stranger.... it was so dreadful. It was in August, I realize, but I really hope you and your kids fared alright. I cannot imagine how it must have felt. I get peeved at the card company's ability to hold on to money when I transfer it from PayPal to Netspend. They hold my few bux, and multiplied by a few hundred thousand people... they make a killing. That's how it is for me, with a bankruptcy. My advice to people is this: If you have decent credit, don't blow it. It's a life altering situation, and it is why I am at the mercy of companies that hold my few bucks. So if you are like me, and you're basically screwed, PLEASE drill it into your kids' heads about the importance of having decent credit. My 20 year old is getting store cards and I try to guide her so as not to be screwed for years due to the temptation of using charge cards. I hope Jessie, whoever he is, didn't turn you and your family out of your home. Bless you and yours... best wishes for you and us all, this coming year! My husband has a saying, and since 1980, it's been true. He say's, "Everything is either a joke or a scam". It is not totally true, but vulnerable people sure are ripe for the picking, or pick-pocketed??!!  Sorry, I didn't want to get negative. Take care. I wonder, did you ever find out how some stranger got your deposited paycheck? That is outrageous beyond imagination. I felt awful, and hope you folks are ok.
