Complaint Review: Netspend

Netspend Fraudulent charge made on my account in another state with out my physical Netspend takes forever to dispute charge then charges me $50 from the money stolen as a "liability" they are thieves !!!! Austin Texas

On November 9th I received a text message stating there was a $143.00 ATM cash withdrawal from a chase bank all the way in California. I had my card in my possession and still do. I live all the way in Florida!!! I immediately called netspend and was given all the address information of the location the employee then gave me netspends fax number and I was told to fax in a written dispute of the unauthorized charged. I then went straight to an Ace Cash Express location and had them send the fax. I was then given proof the fax was received and I gave netspend a call I was told the dispute department was closed and to call tomorrow. I called the next day and was told the same but to not worry someone would email me. Come Monday no one ever emailed, so I called. I was told on November 11th my dispute was received and it would take 7-10 days. The 10th day of waiting  arrived and no one had emailed me. I was told to wait until that Friday and once again nothing !!! I called customer service and asked for a supervisor and was told there was not one available and that they would write it up and I would get a call no later than 6pm. I Never received a call from a supervisor !!! At around 7o'clock I received a text message stating an adjustment of $93.00 had been made. I was missing $50.00!! I immediately called and the rep could not give me any explanation she then transferred me to her supervisor named Sheela who explained I was being penalized for notifying them 2days late about the charge which was a lie!!! She Said she would email the dispute department and send me a confirmation email, another lie she never did. I Then again called and spoke to another supervisor and was told he would email the dispute department and I would have a response within 24 hours. I Get a letter stating I was being charged $50.00 for liability. Are You serious? My Money was supposed to be protected but someone still managed to access into my account and steal $143.00 without my card from an ATM machine and then you have the nerve to charge me $50.00 !!!! I Have never signed anything stating I agree with this.  I Asked them to provide me proof where it states this liability in there terms and conditions also showing my signature and nothing has been proven to me. I will be finding a lawyer and I will try my hardest to get my money back and makes sure I will spread the word every chance I get ! Netspend is a thief !!!! I Have never ever had worst service no one knows what there doing and they could careless. I had the money in my account for my bills and they had no compassion what so ever. The reps are overseas and you can barely understand them. They Communicate with higher departments through email making it a snail mAOL process a
