Complaint Review: Network Solutions

Network Solutions Fraudulent Automatic Billing for 2+ Years Herndon Virginia

I purchased five domains from Network Solutions; and only TWO hosting packages. Those two hosting packages were transferred to Wix in 01/2011, and 01/2013. I received a notification from Network Solutions last week that my order was unable to be processed. WHAT order? As it turns out, this company had been deducting $67.15 monthly for years. I do not have websites nor email services with Network Solutions, and I have been paying Wix to host my other two sites, one of them for more than two years.

I demanded a refund of these erroneous charges, and after three days of calls and promises, the company responded with one month of reversed charges, $67.15 "as a good-will measure."  I did not order hosting from Network Solutions, they have not provided hosting, and I should be refunded in full.  This is theft.

I contacted Network Solutions repeatedly about the issue previously. Several reps promised an investigation and reversal of charges. This was not done. Further, a new automatic renewal system was implemented and the charges resumed. Here is information about the class action lawsuit in development in the state of New York. My issue is the same.

Why did you wait two years to complain?
