I received my disk, the Welcome Pack from Net Zero dated 2/06/2007. This was for the FREE 30 day as advertised on the T.V., I did give a credit card number and was told if I liked the program I would be charged $ 9.95 starting on March 3, 2007, my first month. I installed on 2/10/07 and did not like it. I removed all programs from my computer and called NetZero to cancel. I was given a cancellation number of 03352232 on 2/10/07. I was assured that I would not be charged as I cancelled within the 30 day period.

On April 3, 2007 a charge of $ 23.36 appeared on my credit card. I called Net Zero and spoke with a lady named Ann. She looked up the cancellation number I gave to her and informed me that I was right. It was an error on their part and would credit the charge. They did credit that charge.

Then on April 29, 2007 NetZero charged my credit card account $ 25.00. I called my credit card and disputed that charge. The credit card company issured a credit pending. Then the credit card company put the charge back. I called to find out why. They informed me that NetZero said they were charging me for the USE.

So I am left at this point owing "Discover Card" $ 25.00 that they paid to NetZero for a Free Trial. I am as unhappy with Discover Card people as I am for the rip off by NetZero.

I did not use their service and Discover Card did protect me from this fraud.
