NetZero They make it hard to cancel, find ways to keep charging my Credit Card Internet

First off they outsource their customer service to overseas so it is very hard to understand the person on the phone.

I tried to cancel my account and they tried to talk me out of it. I was firm and polite. No, I don't want to continue service, please cancel my account. Turns out, they kept charging my credit card and I still had service but they called it "back up service" at $4.95 a month. So I call back after realizing this and tell them to please stop charging my account and to cancel my account completely. Then they want me to sign up for virus protection software through Norton and they are going to charge my credit card for this service even though I told them I didn't want it !!

No matter what, they find a way to keep charging me for something I clearly do not want. Please help. My last resort is to cancel my credit card but I have a feeling they would send me to collections to collect money I did not want them taking in the first place. I am at a loss here. I am so angry right now!
