Neusteter Parking Garage - 1520 Stout St, Denver, CO They increased the rate after I entered the parking garage - rate was $16 and when I exited it was increased to $25 due to events. They charged me 2 days since I parked before midnight but only was parked for 9 hours with no notice of intent to price gouge the next day. What would have been a max of $32 was $50 with no warning. I had to park a rental vehicle in the public garage (Neusteter's Garage) next to my residential building as my own vehicle was parked in my spot just below Neusteter's. The posted max rate was $16 per day, with a new "day" starting at midnight. I had parked my rental in the same garage for 3 days. On the 4th day I parked again at approximately 10:30 PM with the same rates posted as described above.
When I exited the next morning at 7:45 AM, the garage charged me $50 with zero warning of an increase. When I asked the attendant, he stated it was related to events occurring in the area (volleyball tournaments, and freaking Oprah).
Blatant price gouging and false advertising. Especially awful as they are clearly trying to rip off visitors and manage to do the same to local residents. Steer clear of these A**HOLES.
