Neutratone Misled and Bank Account was charged off Internet

In December 2015 I saw an ad on the internet that said $4.95 for shipping to receive a free jar.  I had 30 days to return the jarif I wasn't happy with the results.  After 10 days I was charged $98.08.  This amount overdrew my account, so I called Neutratone to complain and get a refund.  I was told by a rude customer service person they did not give refunds and a new jar was on it's way.  Told them to cancel immediately.  I filed a complaint with my bank.  They had no luck either and told me I was responsible for the $98.08.  That meant I would have to pay them a little bit at a time.  I am on disability and cannot afford a $98.08 jar of Neutratone!  They apparently didn't think I paid in time and closed my account and charged off the remaining of $44.08.  After reading all the other stories I was convinced I needed to pursue this further.

This is an update to the complaint I wrote on March 2016.  I stated in my report that I was misled by the Neutratone website.  I contacted the company to complain about the $98.95 I was charged for another jar of the moisturerizer.  I had not ordered anymore of the product.  They responded quickly and stated that they would refund my money because I did not understand the terms of the agreement.  They also stated that they do not give away free jars of the moisturizer and that the first jar was a sample for the monthly subscription.  You must call after the 14th day of using the moisturizer to cancel anymore to be shipped.  It was my mistake to not see the agreement.  I appreciate their kindness and help to refund my money.
