New Century Mortage Ripoff Unauthorized Credit Check- Stole info!! Irvine California
Received Notification from Credit reporting agency informing me of the "recent" results into my credit background for my new house loan with New Century Mortage. I NEVER applied to refiance my home loan or even heard of New Century Mortage. When I contacted there offices to inquire I was hung-up on, put on hold for ever or simply lied to and told the applied but they had "no documentation" to support this claim. When I requested to talk to a supervisor I was told there "are no supervisors." The next day my wife received the same communication from the concerning the status of her loan application for a home. Again New Century refused to provide any information as to why or how thy did this. We contacted or Lender and he immediately felt some type of fraudulent activity maybe going on but could not prove it. To this date New Century refuses to reply to any letters or communication on this issue

I am a mortgage broker and I will use New Century occasionally for the borrower that has sub-prime credit.
I can log onto their "Fast Qual" site and upload the 1003 credit application that I have completed for my borrower. After uploading the app, I pull credit directly from their site.
If your broker is shopping for a loan for you and he "Fast Qualed" you at New Century, that might explain what happened. It shouldn't hurt your credit score so long as you actually do get a new mortgage going.
By the way, unless your credit is not so good, there is no reason that your broker should be shopping at New Century. I only use them if I can not place a loan with a prime lender.
