july 05 I bought my home had the closing from h**l. Mortgage company was New Century. fast forward... mortgage is sold to Countrywide Mortgage. Jan 06 after a family emergency i found that my house payment was going to be late. I called Countrywide they were more than understanding when I explained what was going on. They said let's see if we can help. I was transfered to the workout dept who said that they could offer me a plan that would add $300.00 a month to my mortgage for 3 months but I would not have a payment due to feb 27, 2006. feb 27, I called to make an electronic payment ( as i do every month)first i was told that i was past due, I explained that i had an agreement with the workout dept, then i was put on hold . They came back & said that they found out i was right & did have an agreement tha was due on the 27th. I gave my bank account info & I was given a confermation # & told to write it down as proof of my payment. i was asked if i wanted my payment posted on the 27th I said yes. I wrote it in my checkbook & forgot about it till mar 27, 2006 when I called to make my 2 payment on the agreement. I was told that they couldn't accept the payment because i had failed to make the May payment. I said may??? this is March May comes after april, how could i be late he said huh?? then went to check on it . he came back & said that i failed to keep the terms of the contract & now was in forclosure. I said foreclosure??? what are you talking about??? they said that i never made Feb."s payment I sid what are you talking about I have a confermation # . They asked what the # was & then said it wasn't their #. I said don't you show that I called in on the 27th, they said that they did but didn't show a payment. I said pull my tape. when i call in it states that your conversation is being taped for training pppurposes. so I said pull it. & i was told they only use them for training. I told them that the truth was on the tape. he said that i should have checked with my bank the next day to see if it had cleared, I said i was told it had cleared electronically, & had the # to prove it .I ws told it didn't matter as it was now in foreclosure. I asked to speak to his supervisor, who was very nice & understanding, said she would prsy for me . I was told that i would hear from someone within the next week, to date no one has called. I told them that if they didn't take my payment on the 27th of march thaat i would be in violation. i asked what if i western union it to you ? I was told tha i would just be throwing my money away as it would not be posted to my account. the next day i came home from work to find that i had been served foreclosure papers from the sheriff. Tomorrow I have an appt with an atty. I have also talked to huh & was told to file charges with the state atty general s office. All i'm trying to do is keep my home. Its like someone on their end dosn't do what they were supposed to do & now i loose my home due o their incompentance!!!! I'm fighting mad, being a single mother is hard enough without being taken advantage of. this is not the first time a payment has been "lost" or mis applied once it was applied to another account, this was just after it was bought out.

I have a loan pending with country wide right now. So far it has a complete mess. I have received calls from all over the country from different people all working on my loan and saying something different. The paperwork arrived and guess what? Completely the wrong type of loan. My husband wanted to let them try and fix this mess because we have already wasted so much time...but after reading these experiences I am done! I dont think it is going to get better from here. I will go to my local bank and start over.
