The steps required to subscribe for $1/month* get you through several pages (which I have printed) none of which explain what the asterisk means. It's only after you authorize the use of your credit card that the "terms of service" are revealed and those terms include being charged $1/month for a guaranteed 48 months.

This violates full disclosure in that the buyer cannot be aware if the terms of purchase are revealed ONLY AFTER one authorizes the use of one's credit card.

When I called the company on the e-mail they sent (subject "Your Purchase Has Been Approved!" I was told that my credit card statement would reflect the billing company as: sgada.com800-370-5012 and it provides the same toll free number to ask questions. This e-mail does not disclose how much I was charged either!.

It's only after you call them that they tell you you're out $48 and that that information was full disclosed in the terms of service (explained earlier). sgada.com has no authority to reverse the charges, they refer you to the 646-495-8107 number.

On a positive note, my credit card number called me immediately and told me they froze my card because their charge set off the fraud alarm. I must first try to get redress from the merchant directly. If that fails, then I must dispute the charge with my bank card company, which I will do with all my printed web pages.
