New Healthy Savings ripoff Internet
March 3, 2005
In December 2004, I accessed an MP3 site. For a one-month trial, it was $1.00. I accessed the site and was unimpressed. I immediately cancelled my subscription.
At the beginning of January, I saw a charge from a company listed as SGADA.com. I contacted the company and was told that they were a second-party biller for New Healthy Savings. I looked up the web site of New Healthy Savings and it shows as a supplemental health insurance web site. I contacted the company at the phone number listed. I was told the account would be cancelled and the money would be refunded.
At the beginning of February, I was charged again. The money from the first charge had never been refunded. The company showed up as GSEWEB.com on my account statement. I contacted the company and was once again told they were a second-party biller for New Healthy Savings. I contacted New Healthy Savings again and was told the refund had never been initiated. There was no reason given for the second charge.
At the beginning of March, I was charged for the third time. This time, the company that was in charge of billing for New Healthy Savings was NH2U.com. I contacted New Healthy Savings and explained the situation and was reassured it would be handled. I was even given the supervisor's address which is the same as the company's generic e-mail.
After this third occurance, I immediately spoke with my bank and filled forms to dispute the charges. The debit card that was being charged was cancelled and a new one was issued.
This has just occurred today. I will have to wait several days to hear what my bank is able to do about it. I was told that they would be able to straighten it out. If they couldn't, their lawyers would be able to.

Thanks to contacting my bank about the charges, chargebacks were initiated. On Saturday, March 5 three refunds for $79.95 were entered into my checking account.
I still hope that this company incurs the wrath of the justic system, for what is obviously a blatant scam.
