New Home Construction has their construction license now suspended from complaints. now removed the license from the newhomeinc.com website, but this is the old informaion:

They changed their name now to New Home Alliance. Same cat but different spots now? stay away stay away!!!!

Many former employees left unpaid and sueing to get money.

The purpose of this is to
convey to our deep concern for the allegations associating New Home Alliance
with New Home Construction, as well as the personal attack on Rich Rifkin in the Ripoff Report. We are deeply
sorry that our company is being maligned because of our previous association
with the company in question, New Home Construction. New Home Alliance and New Home Construction
are two separate entities with different corporate officers and different
business focuses. Rifkin has a
long-standing reputation among his friends, family and business associates of
absolute transparency and debt repayment. The issue here stems from a
marriage/divorce situation.
In the spirit of honestly and transparency, we will
explain the history of both companies and provide contact information for each
party:
New Home Construction is solely owed by Kim
Carty. New Home Alliance is owned by Rich Rifkin .
Both were formed in 2006. Kim
Carty and Rich Rifkin had been
friends since 2000. In 2006, Carty
formed NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION. Around the
same time, Rifkin formed NEW HOME ALLIANCE to help contractors source green
building materials. Carty owned and
operated NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION from inception, and at no time was Rifkin an
officer of the construction company. Rifkin and Carty began dating
in 2007 and married 3 months later. At
present, Rifkin is separated from Carty and in the process of divorce.
NEW HOME ALLIANCE has no
affiliation with NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION. The use of the name New Home was for
branding and marketing purposes that, if both companies were independently
successful, would reflect well on each other. That however has not been
the case. Cartys mismanagement of NEW
HOME CONSTRUCTION has been instrumental in Rifkin divorcing Carty in marriage
and business.
Words cannot express how saddened we are by the Ripoff
Reports posting and the allegations against Carty's company NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION. Rifkin is certainly
available to address any negative comments.
It should be made clear, however, that NEW HOME ALLIANCE, the green
building material company, has not been and is not affiliated with NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION.
Rifkin remains committed to
helping to green the construction and building materials industry. His vision of making green building materials easy to find and priced competitively with non-green materials should not be
derailed by his former association.
Rifkin has invested personal funds into the development of New Home
Alliance and wishes total separation from NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION. However,
Rifkin will speak directly with any party who has a question or concern.
Let us assure you that what
happened to upset the Santa Rosa
individual who wrote to you is not typical of NEW HOME ALLIANCE or Rifkin. We are committed to achieving the highest
standards of integrity.
