Complaint Review: New Horizons Computer Learning Center

I have been looking very hard for a job this past year on careerbuilder.com. I applied to an add for New Horizons. They were offering entry level IT jobs and were willing to train.

I got a phone call a week later from a representative offering me an interview for an IT position. I drive 37 miles to discover this is a school I have to pay for and then have them help me find a job. They are telling me to apply with the Department of Labor in order to cash in on training money. This wasn't an interview, it was a sales pitch. They were promising me guaranteed job placement after I completed the classes.

I came home and a great deal of information on this company online. Many of these are complaints from former students. This does not seem to be localized. The complaints are coming from many different areas.

I am furious after reading things online that this company continues to use this tactic. They are stealing money from people who cannot afford it at this time. I just wanted to be sure that there was a recent report on here letting people know that this leopard has not changed its spots!
