NEW - National Electronics Warranty Corp. Rip Off Work At Home Sterling Virginia
NEW Corporation hired me and I drove 45 miles each way to training and I had agreed to that. I went thru 6 weeks of training and my trainer told me I was an excellent rep. I even had to go thru some HR issues with my trainer due to other personnel in the class. I was always praised for my excellent call handling etc. etc. etc. I got out of training and went on the phones in a "probationary period"...during this time I received a 100% call evaluation from an interim supervisor and I also received many accomodations from customers that were so very very happy with my treatment and service to them. I was placed on multiple warnings for not "following script" when I would go off our scripted responses to help the customers. In ALL the instances in which I was wrote up for this it was instances in the end I was able to help the customer get their service working again and they were very happy. My supervisor was very rude to me and spoke to me like I was a child. I reported this to HR and my supervisor's direct supervisor...I was told that there would be a conference between all of us to get all of it talked out and straightened out. Instead I got further reprimanded and I ended up quitting out of pure frustration. This place is a joke....they fill you with all these promises and the trainer teaches you how to do things that you end up getting reprimanded for. All I can say...is don't waste your time....they will find fault with you.

I am an employee for NEW and i have worked for NEW for almost two years and i love it. There is going to be bad days and good days. That goes for any place that you work for.
With my experience for working at NEW has been a great experience. This job has helped me become a better person toward people. The location that i work in has people that drive over 1 hour to get to work every day. I myself drive 15 miles and 30 miles from school to work (three days a week).
Any job can find fault with anyone at any time. There are some people that work there that does need to grow up some, but other then that, i love my job and the people that i work with.
The trainers that are working where i am at, they know how to do there jobs and do it right. There is some confusion between the trainers sometimes, but they still get the CCR's trained well.
If you dont follow script, then YES you will get points taken off and possible terminated if it keeps happening. So i don't see what all the fuss is all about.
