I received an email from a company calling themselves Vaperlite. They offered an ecig trial offer, where you were only required to pay shipping and handling to receive the product. Terms and conditions were conveniently well hidden, and I signed up without concern. I also signed up for another trial offer of some ecig juice. Same thing, pay shipping and receive the product. Terms and conditions convenienctly hidden. Almost as soon as I entered my credit card info and sumbitted, I had a bad feeling.

I called the customer service number for both purchases 3 minutes after submitting my purchase. The service reps were hard to understand, their phone system lagged, and there was a good ammount of background noise to overcome. They pulled my account and I told them that I wanted to cancel both orders. They told me that once an order is submitted, there is no way to cancel the order. I asked them what my credit card would be charged and they told me the shipping charge, I asked if there would be any other charges and they said there would not be.

I did some research, and realized that I would be charged ~$100 for the product after my evaluation period was up, as well as a recurring ~$100 charge for "monthly supplies". This was for BOTH of my orders. Outraged, I called customer service once more and attempted to cancel my order. They offered 50% off and that was it. After getting no where, I hung up and called my credit card company. I put a block on the two names they charged my credit card from and asked that they not be allowed to charge my card anything else.

I received the product and called customer service once more. I asked to return the product, and the CS person insisted I try their product before returning, and that I had 12 days to evaluate the product. I thought I had nothing else to lose, and I wanted to at least get my shipping fee justisfied, so I opened one atomizer, one ecig juice bottle, and charged the battery. I used it for a little while, with all intentions of returning it once my trial was over. I called again 3 days after trying the product, and requested an RMA.

The CS I spoke with said that since I opened the product and used it, that they could not accept the return. Im not sure what they define an evaluation as, but apparently you cannot evaluate the product. He said that this was listed in the terms of conditions. I still cannot find that statement in any of their terms and conditions. This company is a full out scam. Sure enough, my credit card was charged the 99.95 that I tried to avoid, and this was before my evaluation was even up.

Luckily I was smart enough to use a credit card, and called my credit card company to dispute the charge. They heard my story, and my money has now been refunded, and I still have their product. I will not be contacting them to return the product, as I have already made plenty of attempts to do so. They are out their product, and they will not recieve a dime for it. SCAMS on them now :). AVOID THIS COMPANY. I wish there was a way to make companies like this pay. Hopefully something gets done. A class-action lawsuit may be in order. I would be willing to participate.
