New River subscription service NRSS forced to rip people off Christiansburg, Virginia
this is a scam i was recruited to work with this company when i answered an ad in the local newspaper ten years ago working with terry ethridge and his daughter amy. i had a bad feeling about many there and many times asked if we were scamming people but was aways told it was legit even after going with amy to their home and seeing the so called office. i asked friends and neighbors to buy a subscription when i came home to visit and they never received the magazines. when i asked again about the scamming they[nrss] became angry and threatened to leave me behind like they had done with others i begged to be sent home but they refused leaving me to get home alone with nothing all they did was steel from people and fill young peoples heads wth big dreams of money to get them to steel for them. everyone was high on something and if you didn't go along with it bad things happened. don't buy from anyone claiming to sell magazine subscriptions and definately don't answer their ad

I use to work for NRSS back in 1996. Not only were they ripping off customers but employees to. I NEVER saw any money from them, i was only there for a short time but in that time i saw people, owners, smoking weed and getting drunk every night. While i was there i found out i was 3 months pregnant, i was told i was no longer useful because i was pregnant, i was put on the first bus leaving Mississippi with none of the money i collected. A friend of mine started with me well she was fired because she wouldn't do any "favors" for some of the other employees. NRSS to me is a group of people that hire people to not only do their dirty work but to force into drugs, drinking, and sex.
