New Sub Magazines Synapse Group MagazineOutlet.com ripoff dishonest, fraudulent billing, renews without my permission even when I have cancelled numerous times ripoff business from hell Stamford Connecticut

New Sub (Synapse) is nothing but a fraudulent company that gets into my Discover card and steals from me every six months...I have called them numerous times, emailed them and all without an honest response. They tell me I:

a.) will be cancelled asap
b.) have been cancelled already
c.) must wait til magazine stops coming and will not be charged any more than I already have been
d.) have no subscriptions under my name

I have told People magazine to stop my subscription, and they suspend delivery until the company that started it in the first place fixes the situation, ie., cancels my bill, etc., but the company never does!
Then, the magazines start coming all over again, each time with a new ending date for the subscription to expire.

I was told that the latest time it would stop in December, 2002, (when I called in Sept.), but now, in January, 2003, it has started all over again with my ending date in June or July, or whatever...
What can I do now? If I call the 800#, it only gives a tape recording and I never get further than that; they don't list any other phone #,... nothing.
