I received this letter from NEW WORLD INTERNATIONAL SWEEPSTAKES, INC stating that I won 50,000.
They told me they didnt need any information from me, only my phone number (which I gave them). This guy, Shawn Davidson (Prize Director) told me that in few days he will contact me to advice on the lump sum that was to be sent out to me in a certified ck.

I went online, and found that this same company sent fradulent ck to someone in Kansas who deposited the ck and count on the funds ...to later be deceived since the ck was false.

I am extremely escheptical about this. I am a single mother who works for living and of course I would love to get such prize of 50,000 dollars. If this is legal.
I would like to request your opinion on this, before I get their ck and make same mistake as the lady in Kansas.
Please help.

This company provides you with a number to call 01144-7947668002 (where you can ask for Shawn Davidson or Tammy Allen). If you advice that I am safe (although it sounds too good to be true) I will gladly go through it, but if you confirm that this company is a scam. Then, I am here for you (you can use me as bait), so you can catch them and put the crooks behind bars or at least to control these people from continue to lie to US population.

Please advice and thanks,

It IS a scam. Please stay away from them. If they send a check, do not deposit it. You too can get in trouble.

To catch them, you might help by reporting this scam to the US Embassy in UK. Those Embassy employees know where, to what UK authorities to forward your complain.

For the Embassy's contact info do an online search for:
"Embassy of the US London"
